If you enjoy near isolation then this place is ideal. Not a lot on the doorstep, only a small local shop in the nearest village. The cottage was clean and had everything you would need to be comfortable for your stay. Overlooking the Lake district across the Solway makes for a fantastic view

Perfect secluded location right by the sea, we could not fault the property in any way. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Very peaceful apart from the relaxing sound of the sea. Fully recommended!

We had a lovely stay in the lodge number 4. Brilliant location, very quiet. The hot tub was appreciated as was all the towels and welcome pack. My only disappointment is that I had hoped for a "dark sky" but there is a very bright security light close to the lodges which means you can't see the stars, but that is only a minor point.
