The weather forecast for the week we stayed at Rascarrel bay looked horrendous, heavy rain every day. We actually had clear blue sky's most of the week. It felt like we were in the Mediterranean, my husband got sunburnt! We saw a dolphin on the day we arrived, we watched him for 20 minutes from our cabin. The accommodation was clean and spaciousRead more, with everything you need. There was a lovely welcome pack, the chocolates were especially nice, we went and found the chocolate shop in Castle Douglas and bought more, the lemonchello chocolates are delicious. We had our large dog with us, plenty of places to walk him. The coffee shops we went to were all dog friendly We will definitely be visiting Rascarrel Bay again Hide
