Holidays in Peak District

Explore stunning mountain landscapes on our Peak District breaks

Here’s your chance to completely escape into a vast and remote wildness. Jagged mountains challenge you to unforgettable hiking and, when you hit the summit, you’re met with endless skylines and breathtaking views. Or save yourself the climb and pick out accommodation for your holiday already located at the top of a mountain. From the moment you arrive, dump your bags and collapse onto the sofa; your days can be spent alternating between sleeping, eating and gazing across Peak District scenery.

The famous Kinder Scout is the highest point in the Peak District and is tiered with waterfalls all the way down, making it an excellent place for a little walking and sightseeing. Other places to stop include the idyllic, sleepy villages of Bakewell, Castleton and Edale - a village that happens to be the end goal for anyone following the beautiful Pennine Way. For those of a more adventurous nature, the Peak District is a great place for activities like paragliding, mountaineering and potholing.

You’ll also need a home-from-home where you can utterly relax when you’re not hiking or abseiling down a mountainside; our collection of self-catering accommodation above is a great place to start. We recommend something with a hot tub or a wood burner for extra ambience, ensuring you stay at a luxurious cottage that draws you in and encourages you to take a breather from your holiday excitement.
