We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was clean, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. We stayed in the month of January, so very cold outside, but the wood fire gave more than enough heat to keep us warm. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, including a 'haRead moreppy birthday' bunting for my partner! Thanks to Jane and Alan for having us. Hide

A lovely, cosy cottage! This shepherd's hut was decorated beautifully. It is very well equipped with everything you could need. The bed is an excellent size, and allows for plenty of storage space underneath, which makes the hut seem the perfect size. Thank you for a lovely visit!

The Shepard's hut was ideally located with good walks locally. The hut was exceptionally clean and had everything that was needed for our holiday. We had a great holiday and will probably return sometime and hope the weather will be better next time.

Just back from the Curlew. After major surgery we wanted somewhere quiet and relaxing and it was both of those. I celebrated my 73rd birthday while we were there which was nice. The owners Jane and Alan were very nice and showed us round the hut then left us to ourselves.
