This cosy stone-built cottage is ideal for a couple’s retreat located in the heart of the Lakes with everything you need nearby.

Nestled in the popular Lakeland town of Keswick, this cottage is the ideal base for a couple’s getaway. There is an abundance of shops, eateries, and pubs to choose from all a short walk away. Derwentwater is just 1 mile away where you can enjoy a day out on the lake via the boat tour or hire a rowing boat/kayak yourself for a more romantic setting.

Once you’re in the property, you will find yourself in the welcoming open-plan lounge/diner with some lovely original features including the fireplace which houses the gas flame-effect fire. There is a smart TV and comfortable leather sofa and an armchair, ideal for a cosy night in after a day out and about. The dining area is spacious and has a window-side dining table with seating for four. The bright kitchen offers everything that guests will need to prepare their favourite meals including an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washer/dryer, and dishwasher. The cottage-style staircase leads up to the first floor where there’s a spacious and romantic super-king bedroom. There is also a bright bathroom with a shower over bath and WC.

Outside is a patio area with seating to enjoy your morning coffee in the sunshine. Along with the patio is a shared garden area. There is on street parking available.

A lovely small but well equipped central property in Keswick. Really homely and cosy and the bedroom was very comfortable - the super king bed was to die for after a long day of walking. Parking on the street was a little challenging this visit over the Easter weekend but we parked a couple of days in the long stay parking in town. At only 11.40:foRead morer 24 hours we felt this was reasonable. Would recommend Troutlets for a break in the Lakes. Quiet, comfortable, warm and well situated. Hide

Modern, well appointed cottage. Excellent location. Warm despite the cold nights. Close to all the main attractions so once parked it was easy to walk everywhere from the door.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Troutlets. The cottage was very clean and furnished to a high standard. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. Great location for the main street, lakeside and bus station. Highly recommend.

Excellent location less than a 5 minute walk to the center of Keswick and approx 10-15 minute walk to Derwent Water. The cottage is beautiful and equipped with everything you could possibly need. It is fitted out in a traditional contemporary style with cute cosy charm but full of modern needs. We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay.

We were disappointed to find toilet hadn't been cleaned and had to and buy some domestos and also refuse hadn't been collected and still hadn't when we left apart from that every thing was all lovely

We loved our stay at Troutlets! Perfect location for a week of hiking in the Lakes. It was clean and quiet. There were lots of goodies included (we appreciated the extra chocolates and cookies because we took them along when we hiked!). My husband and I felt like dumb Americans because we couldn't figure out how to lock the front door at first. LOLRead more. But we figured it out eventually. We would 100% return to Troutlets for our next hiking adventure in the Lakes. We were so sad to leave Keswick. Hide

A lovely well equipped & very comfortable cottage. A great location for walking into town, to catch local buses to see more of the stunning scenery & to travel further afield. The king size bed is extremely comfortable. Great attention to detail with fixtures & fittings & decor. Very clean & well organised cottage.

Great location to all the amenities Keswick has to offer and lots of walking from the door. The cottage is warm and comfortable and is very well equipped. Perfect for a couple.

Have stayed in Keswick many times over numerous years but first time at this accommodation absolutely loved it. Will be back here again. Good location, accommodation just right for 2 people everything you need. Parking could be an issue in busier months but was fine for the time we stayed.

Lovely, luxurious, spotless cottage in quiet location close to town. Deceptively spacious, well equipped, a perfect, cosy place to return to after a day on the fells. No problems getting a parking spot on the street.

Perfect place to stay to explore Keswick and surrounding areas. Modern and cosy, would highly recommend for a relaxing stay in Keswick. Very clean, with a great shower, comfy bed and in a quiet location.

Troutlets was a really nice place to stay for us. It was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was cosy and scrupulously clean. Great holiday in Keswick accommodation really central in Keswick, clean and modern. Really enjoyed our four nights her and would definitely recommend. Bar ES does great tapas and local pizza restaurant good as well and really close by.
