Set in a lovely remote village, with some great walks on hills nearby, the cottage is very comfortable and the owners were very friendly and helpful. They have two lovely dogs and a couple of impressive Clydesdale horses you may also meet! This cottage was by far one of the best holiday cottages I have ever stayed in. The location was idyllic, the layout of the cottage was perfect, so cozy and extremely well equipped. I stayed over Christmas and new year and it was the perfect setting for a traditional Christmas, the owners had decorated the cottage with a lovely tree and the log burRead morener gave the perfect atmosphere for that traditional Christmas. The Hop Barn is a lovely property. It's warm and cosy ,a beautiful conversion, thoughtfully furnished and equipped. It's quirky too. The property has lots of friendly dogs and the gardens and pond are well set out. The two Clydesdales are amazing. There are lots of brilliant towns and places around to explore.
