Stylish and contemporary home situated in a convenient location in the village of Horns Cross, just short drive from the town of Bideford and the golden sands at Westward Ho!

This stylish and contemporary home sits in an accessible location within the small village of Horns Cross, close to the North Devon and North Cornish coast. Set in acres of grounds the house offers spacious accommodation and a great place for friends and family gatherings. There are miles of lovely country walks directly from the property, allowing guests to really make the most of the peace and tranquillity that is offered here. There is plenty to see and do within a short drive of the property, including the attractive harbour town of Bideford, with its collection of independent shops, the two-mile wide beach at Westward Ho!, and The Big Sheep family adventure park.

Stepping into the property from the rear decked balcony you enter into a useful utility area where you can leave your shoes after a day’s exploring before heading on in for an evening of relaxing in style. The impressive open-plan lounge is stylishly furnished with TV and red accents throughout, the floor to ceiling sliding doors allow for natural light to flood into this contemporary space, making it a great place to relax after a long day. There is a large dining table making eating together easy with seating for everyone. There are two kitchen areas, which ensures you can cook everything from a three course meal to a light lunchtime snack, well-equipped with an electric Rayburn, oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher, and there is also a wine fridge. Also on the ground floor is a wonderful little snug room with a woodburner and TV, perfect for the children to retreat and watch their favourite movie on the TV or play with the selection of games. Heading up the feature staircase to the first floor, you will find the four bedrooms. The master bedroom, features an unusual but luxurious screened double walk in shower, two washbasins and two WC’s, the bedroom is spacious and has sliding doors with a Juliet balcony to allow the outside in.  The high level large windows have been recently changed to filtered glass and there are curtains instead of the photographed blinds.  There is a further king-size bedroom with TV, a double bedroom and a bunk bedroom. Completing the accommodation is the stylish bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Heading outside you will find the decked balcony, where you can enjoy the evening sun and enjoy a spot of al fresco dining whilst the children play in the large lawn area with an unfenced pond. There is off-road parking for three cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

A lovely, large property in a good location. We enjoyed being close to amenities and attractions. A good supply of kitchen equipment provided. Beds were comfortable and linen was nice . The lounge windows were fastened shut so it got very hot and airless when the sun was shining. It would have been nice to open the sliding doors onto the decking anRead mored the largely unusable huge 'garden' beyond. The whole place could do with maintenance and a deep clean. We stayed at this property with 4 adults, 2 kids under 3 and 3 dogs including a large GSD. We had a fantastic time. Lots to do nearby for kids and most places are dog friendly. All the beaches nearby, Appledore/Westwood Ho are dog friendly and again cater for kids. The pub virtually opposite Hoops serve local ale, very good food and have a fantastiRead morec beer garden. Property is well equipped just seems abit unloved which is a shame. Dont let this put you off though its a fantastic location. Hide

Large, roomy property and we had a very enjoyable week there. Well equipped kitchen with lots of storage room in large bedrooms. Lots of space for dogs to run at the back of the property. Roadside location was a problem as not able to walk easily from the property and a few niggling problems with plumbing.

Great property and location - feels more homely than a rental and much nicer than the photos show ... garden is huge and safe for dogs and has everything you need. Yes the road can be busy at times but dont let this put you off - would highly recommend staying here

A light and airy property With plenty of space for a family of six. Not the best position as its located on a very busy road with no pavement so difficult to walk from and drive out of. Master bedroom very open plan and needs darker blinds. On the whole we enjoyed our stay just a few niggles !

We had a wonderful stay at 'The Hoops'. The house was in a perfect location to visit lots of lovely places in Devon. The views at the back of the house were beautiful and we enjoyed eating outside surrounded by nature.

A wonderful modern cottage for our extended family holiday. Well equipped and spacious we enjoyed many bar b q and movie nights. Located near some excellent beaches for a surf loving family.
