This cosy country cottage is set in a beautiful coastal setting between Montrose (9 miles) and Arbroath (7 miles). For those that enjoy a swim or paddleboarding, you have the gorgeous sands of Lunan Bay just 2 miles away at Boddin Point. Famed for its championship Golf course, Carnoustie is 15 miles. The area is great for cyclists and walkers looking to explore the area on foot or by bike. The picturesque coastal town of Broughty Ferry (20 miles), as well as the city of Dundee (24 miles), have excellent shopping and leisure facilities, as well as many tourist attractions which include the Victoria and Albert Museum and RRS Discovery.

Step inside this charming single-storey stone-built cottage, you will enter the property via the spacious boot room, then on to the galley-style kitchen with its beautiful countryside views. The cosy lounge lends itself to relaxing evenings in front of the wood burner whilst reading a book or watching a movie. To the front of the property, there is a conservatory area which has a dining table and provides a great spot to enjoy a coffee or to properly relax with the fabulous countryside views it offers. There is a super-king-size bedroom and a single bedroom with a lovely subtle nautical theme. Completing the property is a family bathroom.

Outside, there is a gravel driveway with ample parking for two cars and additional if required just 50 metres away. There is garden furniture to enjoy your morning coffee.

Really nice cottage. Good parking. Well equipped kitchen. Good heating. Nice log burner with huge supply of logs right outside. Nice small conservatory for eating or just sitting looking at the view. Can see Lunan Beach from kitchen window. Probably a path to it but we went in car. Excellent beach. We went in March so it was cold but you won't be dRead moreisappointed if you book during the warmer weather. Would be amazing here in the summer. Nice wooden sitting area in garden too. We had a delightful stay in the cottage - the location / setting was ideal and really beautiful. And the cottage was perfect - the attention to detail in it was lovely. We felt very at home.

Great location some nice walks . Cottage quite well equipped. Arbroath Abby worth a visit also Glamis and duns stonehaven ok towns are quiet and many shops closed down . 2nd chance cafe nice for coffee and cake or breakfast butty .

A great place to stay if you like cliff walks and beach walks with lots of wildlife. A lovely relaxing cottage to come back to after a busy day exploring the area.
