For foodies, you can stroll to The Black Bear at Bettws Newydd and for local produce a well-stocked farm shop at Craft Renaissance just across the road. Visit the traditional market towns of Usk, Abergavenny and Monmouth which offer a variety of shops, cafes, restaurants and weekly farmers markets where you can sample the local produce. There are many historic sites, caves, castles, ancient monuments, museums and festivals to explore, including Tredegar House, Tintern Abbey, The Big Pit, Raglan and Chepstow Castle.
