Switch off from the outside world and enjoy an adult only getaway at this stunning sanctuary. One of two deluxe lodges surrounded by wildlife, flowers and meadows, it sits within a farm just a mile from the village of Abberley and boasts wonderful views of the landmark clocktower that rises from nearby woodland. Walkers will adore the property’s proximity to the 31-mile Worcestershire Way as it wends through the hills, valleys and lush landscapes of the Abberley and Malvern Hills Geopark. A gateway to Wyre Forest – the UK’s largest native woodland – the Georgian market town of Bewdley (9 miles north) is a stopping point for the Severn and Severn Valley Steam Railway. Jump on a vintage train and you can travel to Kidderminster (11 miles) or Bridgnorth, 21 miles. Alternatively, visit Victorian spa town Great Malvern (18 miles south), calling in first at cathedral city Worcester, 13 miles from your doorstep.

A grass roof and cedar cladding ensure that this contemporary country residence blends seamlessly into the surrounding landscape, while a wheelbarrow adds a characterful touch to your arrival, assisting as you transport luggage along the 50m pathway from the car park. Step through the sliding doors that span the front of the property and you’re straight into a stylish open-plan living space where two can enjoy together-time in complete privacy. In one corner the kitchen is chic, compact and contains all you’ll need for effortless self-catering. Stretch out on the nearby sofa and the verdant views across the landscape are awesome. A Smart TV adds home-style entertainment to your stay; cuddle up as you stream your favourite programmes then when it’s time to sleep, retire to the adjacent bedroom where a king-size bed beckons. Bathrobes bring a boutique-hotel note of luxury as you stroll to the shower room or tiptoe towards the hot tub.

Enjoy views of the historic clocktower and countryside from the large decked terrace that fronts the lodge; complete with lounge-style outdoor furniture and a gas BBQ it’s a great spot for al fresco food and drinks – you may even spot the red deer that roam freely while you unwind. Schedule some time for self-care and indulgence while you’re here – yoga mats are provided for morning stretches and the far end of the terrace a luxury hot tub – accessed directly from the bedroom too – will soothe body and soul. This property is adults only.

The description of the location and dwelling should be more specific.. I wouldn't call it a lodge, cottage or caravan.. its a fully fitted, clean, functional portalodge is the best description

Lovely stay in Home Farm Red, despite the terrible weather. All the facilities required for a long weekend. Welcome snacks much appreciated, and information binder very useful. Only gripe is that there is not a heated towel rail as advertised. (Looks like there was once!) This made the bathroom very cold and nowhere to dry our towels. What a fantastic private location. The hot tub was amazing and the lodge adequately equipped for our needs. The bed was very comfortable and the remote control blind a bonus for admiring the view in the morning. A lovely cottage in a great location. Very easy to find and set in very peaceful surroundings. The scenery is beautiful and it is easy to travel to a range of different towns/villages/attractions. The cottage is well-equipped although note there are some things that were missing (cheese grater, colander, a decent-size pan). Also, if we were stayingRead more again we would take our own towels and pillows as these were not great. The outside space was fantastic. Hide

We had a fantastic 4 night stay in Red, owners were so helpful, great communication. This property caters for all year round breaks as all events covered from hot to cold weather. Location is fantastic. We walked to the Manor Arms for a wonderful meal and also to Witley Court which was an all day trip. Overall we didnt want to leave.
