We have stayed in a few short term rentals with kitchens. Most fell well short of providing decent or proper kitchen utensils. Your kitchen was well stocked with high quality appliances. This made cooking and baking very easy. Our cottage was cozy and roomy. The views from the upstairs and downstairs windows were perfect for photos. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We booked last minute and the owners were very accommodating. There was; Milk, tea, coffee and scones,Jam and Cream and doggy treats ( Daisy was well impressed with them) all waiting for us when we got there. A super clean cottage. It had everything in the kitchen that you would have at home. The bed was comfortable and the living room was lovely with access to all the tv channels you could want. A clean, spacious bathroom with modern fittings and a separate boot room for wet wellies, clothing etc made it an excellent choice for us. We can only echo what most other say that the accommodation was lovely, extra nice as we had the area to ourselves, we knew the area of old but still found it beautiful and interesting with lots of history ,if you know where to look. Really lovely cottage just as portrayed in the photos. Beautiful grounds to enjoy sunny evenings. Very helpful owners. There are some great walks nearby with easy free parking and the locals are really friendly. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed in the gardeners cottage from 19th to 26 April. The cottage is a lovely comfortable house for a holiday and has all the utensils you will need. The bed was comfortable with good quality line. The gardens were beautiful and well maintained. It was a pleasure to sit outside and watch all the small birds on the numerous feeders around the gaRead morerden. What a wonderful place. It was my second visit and there will be a third holiday. If you like quiet but not far from shops and pubs, it's perfect. This property is absolutely perfect. Its the most well equipped and beautifully appointed holiday home we have stayed in-and we have stayed in a few! Gorgeous setting, quiet and relaxing and Jan was extremely welcoming and helpful. We can highly recommend the property and the surrounding countryside is beautiful too.

The cottage is comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well equipped, with very welcoming hosts. The location is peaceful with great views and is perfect for exploring and walking. Our naughty spaniel was cross-eyed with excitement at the vast number of pheasants everywhere she looked!

We were made to feel very welcome in this beautiful residence. Stunning grounds as you pull down the driveway, which we were invited to enjoy with the dogs. Fresh homemade scones on arrival. A very nice place to stay for a holiday. Very well equipped and comfortable. The gardens are fabulous and the covered courtyard is a great place to sit when the weather is wet but you still want to be "outdoors". Be aware, there are some steep stairs going up to the main living room and bedroom...which will not suit everyone.

Accommodation and location exceeded expectations. Unique cottage with quality furnishings. Extensive gardens to explore with the dog. Friendly owners provided welcome treats, including warm scones and truffles, and were more than helpful after I managed to leave a few things behind. Perfect for taking time out to recharge.

We arrived at the property with some plans to visit the surrounding areas but decided to spend our time entirely within the grounds (with the exception of a resupply in town) as it had everything we needed. Absolutely fabulous cottage in well manicured grounds. The cottage was exceptionally clean and well presented. The hosts Jan and Tim were very welcoming and couldnt have made us feel more comfortable. Its a great place to relax with easy access to local walks so no need to travel far to find things to do.
