Set close to the quintessential fishing villages of Appledore and Clovelly, Hartland Peninsula is known for its amazing landscape and has played host to many TV and Film productions. Drive to either Devon’s Westward Ho!, or Cornwall’s popular Bude with miles of sandy beaches to spend memorable days surfing, swimming or sunbathing.

This charming barn is quietly situated amongst a handful of other properties with its own private driveway. Park and unload beside the barn and plan your adventures. Heading into the barn you find yourself in the open-plan lounge/diner with a wood burner, a Smart TV/DVD, exposed beams, and limestone flooring. Moving on to the kitchen, this has underfloor heating and is well-equipped with an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and a washer/dryer. This is a lovely cottage idea for two people. It was exceptionally clean and has everything you need. There are sone lovely touches throughout the cottage, including large soft towels! It has a small enclosed lawned garden which is ideal if you have a dog. You do need to get used to the narrow country lanes. There are 3 pubs in nearby Harland but bRead moreest to drive there. Hide

We found the cottage to be beautifully appointed and decorated with every requirement we could want. It could not have been more comfortable and well equipped. Thoughtful additions like a welcome gift were also appreciated and the information pack was very helpful. Loved it.

This has to be the best self catering holiday accommodation we have ever stayed in for cleanliness, equipment and comfort and also great location for peace and quiet but also easy to get to most places. We would definitely come back and recommend to many people. 10/10 5*****

This is a lovely cottage in a beautiful location. The cottage is well equipped and the owner made us very welcome on arrival. There was a nice welcome pack on arrival after a long journey, my wife particularly liked the prosecco. We have visited may holiday cottages over the years but this one had the best wifi by far of any we have experienced on Read morea cottage holiday. I certainly would recommend this cottage to others, and would happily stay again for future holidays. Hide

A perfect holiday getaway. The cottage was set in a quiet and peaceful setting but had easy access to all amenities. It was perfect for our dog too with a little enclosed garden. We would highly recommend.

The cottage was really lovely, very comfortable. We had a really good holiday here. The only draw back were the very bumpy lanes but you gradually got used to itquite an experience!!!
