Further afield is the mythical Tintagel, famed for the legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, along with other historic fishing villages including Boscastle and Port Isaac which are within 30 miles. For walkers there is easy access on to the South West Coast path.

Cottage is a first class holiday cottage - fully equipped kitchen - good beds -good bathrooms/toilet facilities -- great position in Bude - great view of the Canal - good parking - good access - good security - it has a lift - good heating. First Class.

A lovely apartment - spotlessly clean and comfy with great beds. Set in the ideal spot to explore Bude - just five minutes from the town and beach - nice to be able to give the car a rest in the handy allocated parking space. This is a beautiful apartment in an excellent location. It was spotlessly clean, with everything you could possibly want, even down to hand soap in the kitchen & both bathrooms, washing up liquid & dishwasher tablets. A really nice touch was the bottle of prosecco, a packet of biscuits & even a pint of milk left in the fridge for us. I would highlyRead more recommend staying here. Ideal apartment for a family of 4 (with boys aged 10 and 8) - fully equiped and ideally located. The apartment was spotlessly clean on arrival and the 2nd room was setup with single beds as requested. Beach, pub, restaurants and shops all with walking distance.

Wonderful spacious apartment overlooking the canal. Quality finish, bedding etc. Absolutely everything has been thought of. The canal provides constant entertainment, even on overcast days.

It was a fantastic apartment, very clean and very tastefully decorated. We had everything we needed for our stay. The location was fabulous, close to the sea and the canal provided lots of entertainment with ducks, geese etc plus fishing competitions, kayaks and canoes. It was fairly easy to get to the places we wanted to visit, don't miss PencarroRead morew House and Cothele if you like NT houses and gardens, or local war museum. Recommend booking Olive Tree and Bredon Arms. Hide

Excellent position overlooking the canal and easy walking into Bude town centre. Pubs / restaurants within walking distance. We were there in January and a number of eating places, in Bude and nearby towns, were either closed for January or only open in the evenings. However, we always managed to find somewhere to eat. The flat itself is clean and Read morewell-furnished. The kitchen has just about every piece of equipment needed to prepare your own meals from scratch. Caring owners. Hide
