Beautiful setting to explore the Northumberland coast. The Stargazer is one of 4 lodges. Outdoor patio space much smaller than the other three so if you are a larger group (more than 4), book one of the other lodges. Very attractive lodge inside. Upside down in configuration so nice views from lounge. Well equipped. Excellent hot water system. VeryRead more hot weather so did not use the log burner but plenty of fuel available if we did. A wonderful stay is this great cottage. It is well located (although you will definitely need a car) with some fabulous restaurants close by (our favourites bring The Potted Lobster and The Black Swan Inn).

Wonderful house, everything you can need and more for a holiday. Superb complimentary tray. David was a great host helpful offering clean towels and bedding in the middle of our 2 week stay and fo t of information about the local beaches. The view from the house was wonderful, a field of cows then the beaches and sea of Budle Bay. Watching the waveRead mores break, the ships (a frigate and schooner ) was great. Good location for the A1, Bamburgh and the coastal route south, but you need a car. House was very spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Comfortable beds, Lots to do in the area, beaches are superb. It can get quite warm when sunny, but found it cools when balcony opened. Good having laundry facilities. Looked as good as it does in the pictures

Perfect property for walkers and dog owners in winter months due to location and coziness, but not so much in summer months due to the amount of glass at the front of the property. It is like being in a greenhouse with extra heat from the wood pellet fired boiler for good measure. The balcony at the rear is very small but is just usable. Just wow factor all the way from the fabulous views to the fantastic location and architectural and interior design of each house. An absolute credit to the owners who have created something very special. Plenty of parking and very quiet and private. We stayed at stargazer and loved the nautical theme of the house. Absoutely loved our stay at this cottage for my mum's 60th. Waking up every morning and seeing the view of the sheep and sea was incredible and so relaxing. The kitchen was huge and had everything you need to cook. Bamburgh and Alnwick not too far and are a must see as they are SO beautiful! Also we really enjoyed the local pubs (5 min drive) in thRead moree nearby village, and even managed to get a taxi home. We will be back! Hide

Lovely house, very comfortable. We did not think it was that dog friendly as no garden. We would have booked the property next door that had a much better confined space for the dog but unfortunately this property only became dog friendly after we booked. A drive wherever you go but we knew this, only five minutes in the car to Bamburgh and to the Read morebeach. Hide

Location is a positive. A clean house. The property does not afford privacy because of the large picture windows. In the living room area there are no blinds. The master bedroom on the ground floor we felt was a difficult room to use, the blinds needed to be closed at all times for privacy, no windows to open so it was particularly hot. The eco boiRead moreler creates far too much heat. This along with lack of windows to open makes the house excessively hot. Not a particularly dog friendly property. Hide

Really great location the views of the coastline were fantastic , we found we where very central for lots af lovely places to visit castles fabulous gardens and lots of history . the recommendations for pubs and restaurants where great we managed to try a few and enjoyed them them tremendously . A beautiful county to visit.

We really will be back to try out the others! Location is ideal (car a must!) and views across farmland out to sea are stunning. The property is furnished to a very high spec with every little extra thought of for ultimate comfort and enjoyment.
