This delightful rural escape is nestled at the foot of the South Downs National Park and located within the grounds of a garden centre, offering a farm shop and café, perfect for when you don’t feel like cooking. It is ideally located for exploring nearby Brighton (7 miles), a bustling cosmopolitan city with a range of shops, galleries and well-known attractions such as the Brighton i360 and Royal Pavilion. In the local vicinity are a whole host of wonderful attractions including Devils Dyke (2.7 miles), Glyndebourne (16.2 miles) and several local vineyards including Poynings Grange (1.2 miles), Albourne Estate (2.1 miles), Ridgeview (7.2 miles) and Nyetimber (22.1 miles). For those who like the great outdoors, the South Downs offers some great local walks and cycle trails which can be finished with a stop at the local pub for a spot of refreshment.

Inside, the hut has been decorated to evoke a cosy and romantic feel. There is a well-equipped kitchen area with an induction hob, combination oven/microwave and fridge/freezer. A dining table with chairs offers an ideal spot for enjoying a romantic meal or a game of cards in front of the wood burner on chilly evenings, or alternatively, enjoy an early night catching up on your favourite box sets on the Smart TV. The king-size bed sits at one end of the hut and enjoys views across the countryside beyond. The shower room has a walk-in shower and WC with an electric towel rail to ensure that guests have warm fluffy towels each morning.

Outside, the hut has an enclosed, secluded garden area with a delightful outside bath with overhead rain shower for enjoying a long hot soak at the end of a busy day. There are two sun loungers and a table and chairs for enjoying al fresco meals using the charcoal BBQ and pizza oven. When night falls, spark up the fire pit and snuggle on the cosy seating to toast marshmallows under the starry skies.

We had a lovely stay in this property! It was clean, comfortable and, once the log burner got going it was so very warm and cosy! The location was ideal for walks up the Devils Dyke, as well as an easy drive to all of the surrounding villages. Colin and the rest of the team were all fantastic, and so helpful and welcoming!
