On the edge of a pretty village - Gilling West. There's a great dining pub just a short walk away. If you are a foodie, head to one of the local farm shops with delis and tea-room and where you will see farm animals grazing in the paddocks. The historic market town of Richmond is just a few miles away with much to offer the discerning holidaymaker. Explore the cobbled market square or stroll up towards Richmond Castle for a slice of Yorkshire history. Head north to Barnard Castle, streets lined with independent shops, cafes and art galleries. Bowes Museum is well worth a visit.

The kitchen appliances include an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Make your way down the hall to the lounge - a restful space with so much to offer, settle down for a relaxing evening in front of the open fire or watch a film on the television. Access the garden from here, a charming private spot for you and your guests to enjoy during the warm months. When it's time to rest after a day of adventure, find three bedrooms on the ground floor two doubles and a king-size room. Or venture up a staircase to find a twin bedroom. There are two bathrooms on the ground floor - freshen up within the spacious walk-in shower room with shower and WC or the bathroom where you can sink into a nice hot bath, there is also a walk-in shower and WC.

Both sides of the cottage are lovely areas to sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, choose from the communal courtyard with bistro-style seating for you to bask in the Sun and enjoy a well-deserved glass of bubbly!
