With panoramic views, this beautifully presented detached barn has been thoughtfully converted and nestles in the grounds of the owners’ home. It is a great base for couples looking to enjoy days on the beach or exploring the best of Somerset.

This property is just over half a mile from the coastal village of Kewstone, where you will find a local pub and shop. Sand Bay beach is just over a mile away and allows dogs all year round, and there is a convenient National Trust car park for the beach 2 miles away. You will also be a short drive from the town of Weston-Super-Mare, known for its expansive sandy beach. Enjoy a day trip to Wells, with its striking cathedral and shopping area, and Cheddar with its famous Gorge. You will also be within easy driving distance of the city of Bristol offering extensive shopping facilities, theatres, cinemas, museums, bars and restaurants. Other places of interest include Glastonbury, shopping at Clarkes Village and numerous National Trust properties and gardens.

Step into the light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which boasts the most incredible far-reaching views over Woodspring Priory and the surrounding countryside. The cottage was extremely clean on arrival and was warm and cosy. The cottage was very well equipped with all we needed. The location was perfect for seeing the area and very peaceful.

Small, comfortable and warm with stunning views. The way the Barn is placed, it is private; not overlooked by anybody. Above all, very dog friendly with plain floors and not a cream carpet in site. Bliss.

We had an great week at Sunset Barn. The accommodation was amazing! It was very clean and well equipped with everything we could possibly need for our stay. The views from the property were fabulous and our dog enjoyed running free so much in the enclosed paddock - he really didnt want to come home. We had a great time at Sunset Barn. It was extremely clean and felt very comfortable and homely. Our dog loved having the field to himself and was worn out after a week there! It was in easy reach of lots of places of interest, with the closest beach just 5 mins away by car. Jeni was very welcoming on arrival and gave us lots of tips for places to Read morego. The cottagie and parking are shielded from public view providing a secure feeling. The property is furnished to a high standard and has some surprising unexpected but nice touches. Owners are close by and on hand if required but not intrusive. Highly recommended !!!

Really nice barn conversion and very comfortable. The hosts Jeni and Pete were great people and very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The garden (or field more like!) was perfect for Otis our GSP. Sand Bay beach 5 minutes away was also perfect for the dog. A great holiday and would definitely recommend this place to stay. A clean, comfortable and relaxing cottage with a lovely country outlook. It is convenient for shopping with a large supermarket, with fuel for the car, about a mile away and a sandy beach for the dog(s) about a mile the other way.
