This beautiful apartment sits on the southern edge of Harrogate town centre overlooking the towns vast public parkland: the 200-acre Stray, which is used by visitors and residents as a place to relax, play, and enjoy pleasant walks. The town itself is extremely well-appointed and not only offers an excellent range of shops, but also a large choice of places to eat from restaurants and pubs to cafes and tearooms, which include the famous Bettys Tearoom known for its delicious afternoon teas. The town has historically been known as a spa town bringing visitors from all around to experience the healing spring water, which can be enjoyed today in the opulent Turkish Baths with their plunge pool, steam rooms, and relaxation lounge.

A lift from the communal lobby of this building takes guests up to this penthouse apartment with its high ceilings, designer touches, and sumptuous furnishings. The main living area comprises an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which has a relaxing seating area at one end, next to an arched window affording views over the towns Stray and two sofas which allow guests to relax and unwind in front of the TV/DVD. The kitchen area is at the far end of the room to the lounge area, next to which there is a dining area seating six and a reading area with an iconic Peel chair and footrest. Breakfast bar seating in the kitchen can seat four people for informal meals or drinks, whilst there is an excellent range of equipment including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. A washer/dryer can be found separately in the hallway cupboard. There are two bedrooms in the apartment, the first of which is a stunning king-size room which not only benefits from an en-suite limestone-tiled shower room with a shower and WC, but also a door which leads out onto the roof terrace. The second bedroom is a double room offers a walk-in wardrobe and another en-suite shower and WC, whilst there is also a separate study which can be converted to a double bedroom thanks to the comfortable sofa-bed - please request sofa bed at time of booking as there is an additional charge of £25 for this. The main bathroom has been finished to a high standard and offers a bath with handheld shower and WC.

Outside, the property has an impressive roof terrace which looks out over the Stray and is furnished with a table, chairs, and two sofas, which make it a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the views over al fresco drinks. There is atmospheric lighting out here too, allowing guests to sit out in the evenings and enjoy romantic sundowners. There is garage parking for one car, as well as an additional space in front of the garage. Please note that due to the roof terrace the apartment is unsuitable for children under eight.
