A wonderful well equipped cottage surrounded by an enchanted woodland. We were lucky enough to be visited by a handful of deer most days. Some of the reviews mentioned the busy road close to the property but even though we could hear traffic it certainly did not distract us or take anything away from the charm of the quaint little thatched cottage.

This was one of the best stays we have had in a cottage. We have stayed in the Lake District and Cornwall but this break in Dorset was by far the most pleasant and relaxing. We had the pleasure of meeting the property owners on our arrival, what lovely people who were so pleasant and so helpful. If you want a relaxing week away, this is the place tRead moreo go. This cottage is very pretty to look at and we enjoyed our stay in October. Its in a wood and very private although a road is nearby and theres noise from the traffic. Lovely small quirky cottage in its own wood however ths meant it was dark in the front room during the day. The main road directly outside was busy however the noise did not keep us awake. It was a lovely gesture for us to be left a welcome box which was much appreciated after a long journey.

The cottage is very sweet and was clean and nicely decorated, and in a great location for exploring the area. However, be aware it is very close to a busy A road, unfortunately we found the traffic noise was constant and loud, whether sitting in the garden or in the house and this rather spoilt our stay.

Beautiful cottage in a wonderful setting and exceptionally well maintained by the owners. It is surrounded by woodland where deer and squirrels abound. A lovely patio area at the rear provides a lovely space to eat al fresco or simply relax. The cottage is very well equipped leaving you mostly in need of nothing else. During the recent mini heatwavRead moree it remained relatively cool inside due to its thick stone walls and thatch. Road noise can be an issue but this is a small inconvenience all told Hide

A beautiful cottage in lovely surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. However a more accurate description of the location is needed due to the level of traffic noise from the busy main road passing by the side of the cottage.

It was a lovely little cottage, perfect for a getaway for a couple. Really great location as it was only a short drive (10-15 minutes) from lots of lovely places to visit such as lulworth cove, durdle door and Corfe castle.
