Wonderfully positioned in the heart of the beautiful Rascarrel Bay. On the stunning Solway Firth, boasting 200 miles of beautiful coastline. Close to the picturesque coastal village of Auchencairn, with a restaurant, cafe and handy post office shop. Within easy reach of Dalbeattie and the beautiful market towns of Castle Douglas, known as Scotland’s ‘Food Town’ and Kirkcudbright the ‘artist town’. Galloway Activity Centre, located on the banks of Loch Ken offers a great choice of water sports and activities including a climbing tower with zipwire, laser tag and archery. Close to some of the best mountain biking in Scotland including the 7 Stanes.

Step inside this stylish luxurious lodge into the spacious hallway, ideal place to store all outdoor clothing. Venturing into the fabulous spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with floor to ceiling full length windows, to admire the stunning costal views. The lounge, with comfortable sofas and French doors leading out to the enclosed decked area, is a great place to perhaps watch a film on the TV/DVD after a day out exploring this stunning area or simply sit back and take in the breath-taking sea views. The wonderful bespoke well-equipped kitchen with mood lighting, is the perfect place to cook up a storm with electric oven and gas hob in the large central island, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, wine cooler and seating area. The dining area is the ideal place to enjoy a romantic meal, with sea views and French doors leading out to the hot tub. Heading back through the hallway you are met with the wonderful king-size bedroom, with magnificent sea views, TV and large dressing room. Followed by the exceptionally spacious bathroom, with beautiful contemporary free-standing bath, large separate shower with double headed rain shower and WC. Finally completing the spacious accommodation is the handy utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Stepping outside onto the spacious fully enclosed large patio area, providing a safe haven for dogs. Relax and enjoy a dip in the private hot tub and admire the stunning sea views. Enjoy al fresco dining and lazy evening star gazing across the bay. There is also a fully covered decked area, with seating and fantastic multi coloured, twinkling star ceiling mood lighting. There is a private drive, with ample off-road parking to the side of the lodge.

We booked this short break for my wife and I with our 2 dogs. Initial impressions were that this is a high-quality, dog safe property in a great location overlooking the sea. Briilaint dog freindly which is 100 % secure .... sitting in hot tub on boxing day with our dogs lying having a good old chew at thier butcher bone. If you are a dog lover you will know what I mean.

Stunning location that felt really isolated and private. Really enjoyed our time here. The dogs could wander in and out thanks to the gated patio surrounding the property and the view was beautiful to wake up to each morning. Did a beautiful walk just over 7km over the cliffs. Would highly recommend for a quiet, peaceful getaway.

What a lovely holiday, the little touches for the dogs and us were brilliant. Very remote location, ideal for chilling in the hottub. Lodge has everything you could want and The dogs loved it too.

This is an outstanding property, excellently equipped and with lovely modern-design indoor and outdoor areas. It is remarkably spacious for two and well deserves its luxury rating. It is beautifully located right next to the sea but well away from roads so is wonderfully peaceful, with great views. The only drawback is that the shoreline itself is Read morerocky and not really accessible , but there is a lovely coastal path right outside. The community shop in the nearby village is excellent. This is our 2nd year here... Beautiful.... Total chill out ... Has everything you need from Landry pods to kitchen foil.. Spacious dressing room, washing machine/dryer... You don't need to bring anything other than yourself and provisions... Looking forward to next year

Fabulous spot - even in bad weather, theres something magical about it. Only down side is theres nowhere in walking distance for a meal - you either have to shop and eat in or be prepared for no alcohol and drive!

It's amazing ....all the little touches to a very high standard could never fault anything about it. Loved the morning service that the hottub was provided daily. They thought of everything that you needed. We have only just come back and will be booking this weekend for next year.

Excellent accommodation. Lovely welcome gifts for us and a special welcome for our four legged friend. Everything had been thought of. Really appreciated the outside seating options and hot tub. Idyllic to sit under colour changing lights with only the sound of the waves in the background. So relaxing, tranquil and silent by day and night.

Wow. The pictures on the website look amazing, but it is even better when you arrive. The lodge lacks for nothing; it is light, airy, warm and comfortable. The views are stunning, so much to look at but so peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, used the hot tub most afternoons, drove to a few nearby places for local delicacies (the scallops in KRead moreircudbright are to die for) but mostly sat and watched the waves or walked along the seashore marveling at the wild flowers and birds. We had a most wonderful and relaxing holiday, the lodge was immaculate. The sea front position next to the beach was amazing with lots of lovely walks for us and our little dogs. The hot tub was tremendous adding a bit of luxury to our stay.

Fantastic Brilliant Awesome. Everything you need and more very clean. The view is great and the walks around the area are stunning. Felt very safe even with the lodges being isolated great place to get away from people and busy lives and to enjoy down time.
