Located in a splendid rural location perfectly positioned amid 40 acres of wonderful countryside and woodland with decked viewing platforms where you can admire the magnificent panoramic scenery, with the immediate location offering walking, biking and hiking routes. Just 1.5 miles from the pretty village of Abernyte with an antique centre and bistro cafe. The cities of Perth and Dundee are within easy reach at 14 miles with their range of leisure and shopping facilities. Visit the splendid Scone Palace and magnificent Glamis Castle, fascinating V&A museum and Camperdown Wildlife Centre or enjoy a day out at Perth Races. Golfers are spoilt for choice with Carnoustie, St Andrews and Gleneagles all within 30 miles. Fishermen can enjoy the nearby River Tay (10 miles), renowned for excellent trout and salmon fishing.

We had a fabulous time staying at Abernyte over Christmas. Suki and Tim were really welcoming and helpful. The cottage was cosy and well equipped. Would recommend.

Had a lovely relaxing week as this location is very peaceful. Walk around the property was ideal for the dogs first and last walk of the day. We were blessed with beautiful weather so made good use of the outside seating and the BBQ. Comfy beds and extra towels for the hot tub/sauna plus dressing gowns too.

A beautiful, comfortable and well appointed cottage in a great location. The on site facilities are just fantastic, well marked walks, the gym, sauna, hot tub, games room, summer house, tennis court. We had the best time and highly recommend a stay!

The cottage was great well equipped, clean and cosy, beds so comfortable. Was great relaxing in hot tub and loved using the bbq. Theres a great supply of wood for hot tub and the fire. All facilities were great too loved the sauna was in it every day had great use of the gym, tennis court and we loved the games room it kept our children 16 and 12 wRead moreell occupied, we all got very competitive so it was good fun. Fantastic accommodation and facilities in a beautiful, tranquil setting. The owners are incredibly helpful and friendly. Our equipment score would have been 4.5 if that was possible. A sight downside for some might be limited storage space for clothes if 4 people were in the cottage; there was plenty space for us as 2 people.

Pitmiddle was fab! A lovely way to spend Christmas. We had everything we needed for the week. The inlanders had really thought of everything that you would need for a comfortable stay. The setting was stunning and the facilities were great. We had a very relaxing stay and will definitely be back.

Just spent an amazing week in this gorgeous cottage, Suki and Tim have thought of absolutely everything and more to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. It was more of a relaxing week for us so the hot tub and sauna were perfect as was the games room for the teenagers. Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Plenty of utensils in kitchen, comfortable beds and great facilities on site. Loved the wood burning hot tub and although there's no bubbles (and no chemicals) it made for a more unique experience and very relaxing. Tim and Suki very friendly and left you to it and were around if you needed them.

This is a fantastic place! If you want peace and quiet with a chance to see some of Scotland then stay here. The facilities are great with wood fired hot tubs, sauna, tennis court and games room. The owners were on hand and very helpful. I would stat here again in a heart beat. Good luck with the new cottages!
