Located in the beautiful historic coastal village of Whiting Bay, on the magical mystical Isle of Arran. Within walking distance to the splendid sands of Whiting Bay and excellent village amenities including restaurants, cafes, shops and even a golf course and putting green. Explore the Neolithic site of the Giant's Graves or discover Glenashdale Falls, the island’s most impressive waterfall. Easy reach to the pretty coastal village of Lamlash, which has activities such as photography workshops and active adventures including gorge walking and abseiling with the Arran Outdoor Centre. Or enjoy boat trips from the pier and explore the wonderful Holy Isle. Travel a little further afield and visit the magnificent Brodick Castle, with surrounding gardens and fantastic county park.

The ground floor of this beautifully appointed, detached accommodation begins with an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The well-equipped kitchen is the perfect place to cook up a storm with Rangemaster electric oven and gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave, and a TV. The dining space for eight accommodates for formal dinners or casual meals. Relax back on the sofas in the lounge area in front of the TV/DVD, with French doors leading directly outside to the patio area. A convenient utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. Two bedrooms are also located on the ground floor, one stylish double bedroom with lovely sea views and a twin bedroom. There is also a ground floor bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Upstairs (via steep stairs) on the first floor are the remaining two bedrooms. One lovely twin, and the other is a small cabin bedroom with single bed, ideal for a child or teenager. There is also a handy shower room with large shower and WC. The final room is a large nautical-inspired second lounge which boasts an open fire and access to an enclosed balcony looking out to the sea with seating area. Or relax and enjoy a great movie on the TV/DVD or perhaps play one of the board games on offer.

Venturing outside to the wrap around mature gardens, there is a delightful large patio area located directly in front of the property, with garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ. So you can enjoy al fresco dining or lazy evening stargazing, perhaps with a wee dram, nice glass of wine or a good local Arran ale. There is ample private off-road parking available at the front of the property.

Good location. Great that the place accepts dogs but the garden is not enclosed so eyes on needed at all times when pooches are in the garden.

-The cabin bedroom with single bed is not suitable for young children. It is a high bed squeezed into an airing cupboard with a slatted see-through door and no curtain on the roof window. We had to move the mattress to the floor of another room for our 2yr old to be safe. -The property has been finished to a low standard looking like a diy job. It Read moreis in need of a renovation. A lovely holiday house in a great position which was spotlessly clean, with everything we required for a perfect holiday. Comfortable beds and we loved the upstairs lounge and balcony. We hope to return.

Cottage is in an excellent quiet location in whiting bay. Ideal for exploring and the beach is only 30 seconds away. Property has everything you need in terms of equipment and is an excellent size. There was 6 adults, a dog and a 1yr old and there was plenty of room. We also brought 3 cars and there is plenty of space for parking. This property was very disappointing. Its in a very poor state of repair and was not clean on our arrival. Crumbs on the counter, dirty cups in the cupboard, rusty kitchen equipment, stained mattress, paint chipped and dirty. Tatty and overpriced. We won't be using this company or this cottage again and wouldn't recommend to anyone.
