Beutiful cottage in a lovely quiet and peaceful location with fantastic walks. Great choice of shops and eating places in Biggar and friendly locals. Went to Peebles for the day, it is not far and worth a visit. Kirstyn the owner was really friendly and helpful and a a nice bottle of wine in the fridge on arrival was very welcome. Beautiful place, clean and with a fabulous view. The hot tub was wonderful and was a highlight of our stay. The cottage itself was spotless and very pleasant. The only gripes were not getting instructions from the owners until the day we travelled and finding out then that dogs aren't allowed in the bedroom. The cottage was in an ideal location only a mile and half from Biggar while having gorgeous views over both Tinto hill and the Pentlands. It was clean and well equipped to make for a very comfortable stay. The hot tub was a great little extra and we made the most of it by sitting in it to watch the sunset each evening. What a lovely peaceful and relaxing little cottage. Warm and cosy. A great base for walking and cycling. Loads of quiet country lanes. Great dog walks straight out of the front door including the thirty-odd minutes into Biggar town centre. Loads of takeaways and restaurants in Biggar. We would highly recommend the Taj Mahal. We had a lovely relaxing holiday, The cottage is a great base for walking with fabulous views. The nearby town of Biggar is a very friendly with independent shops and a couple of nice dog friendly pubs.
