This property provided a great base for exploring the Lakes. It is within easy walking distance of Haverthwaite railway and the Lakeland motor museum. It is also an easy walk to the bus stop on the A590. We found getting around by bus was much better than driving as traffic was very heavy and the roads are quite narrow. VERY NICE QUALITY APPARTMENT WHICH IS IN A PERFECT LOCATION TO VIEW LOTS OF THE LAKES SITES. EASY PARKING IN OWN BAY , VERY QUIET, VIEW OVER RIVER , HOTEL IN WALKING DISTANCE . WOULD RECOMEND TO OTHERS

This property is outstanding! It is beautifully furnished, spotless, and equipped with everything you could need. Its not like a holiday let; we really felt at home. It was the perfect base for our first trip to the Lake District.

A lovely spacious and comfortable apartment. An easy 10/15 minute stroll to lovely pub - Anglers Arms serving good beer and good food. Haverthwaite railway 10 minutes walk. The nearby hamlet of Backbarrow has a post office.

This apartment was lovely and very clean. We had a week long stay and we travelled out in the car each day but the apartment was very comfortable and enjoyable to spend time in as well. The location meant we spent most of our time in the Coniston & Windermere areas and the village & complex was very quiet and peaceful.
