This beautifully furnished and styled holiday home is set in the seaside town of Westward Ho! on Devon’s Atlantic coast. The town is popular with visitors and locals alike, thanks to its two-miles of sands and surf, where families can enjoy building sandcastles and paddling in the waves, alongside water sports enthusiasts from the beachfront surf academy. Just next door is the Royal North Devon Golf Club, where guests not only automatically have access to the bar and restaurant but can also enjoy a round of golf at an extra charge. Behind the beach, Northam Burrows Country Park offers enjoyable walks among the sand dunes.

On entering the property, you find yourself in a spacious entrance hall. The reverse-level layout means that the four bedrooms are located on the ground floor. The first bedroom has a king-size bed with Smart TV and has patio doors leading out onto the rear patio and garden and benefits from an en-suite shower room and WC, the next is a super king size which can be made into twins on request (must be stated at the time of the booking) also with doors opening out onto the patio. There is a further double room with high beamed ceiling and furnished in a French style with window shutters and has an en-suite shower room and WC. The fourth bedroom is a spacious twin. There is also a stylish family bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Also, in the bathroom is a large cupboard housing the washing machine and tumble dryer. Completing the ground floor is the snug, ideal for kids, with bean bags, books, TV and DVD player. As you head upstairs, on the first floor, guests will find the spacious and tastefully decorated lounge/kitchen/diner. In the lounge area a large comfortable sofa, with room for everyone, is positioned so that guests can enjoy the view or cosy up and watch the TV/DVD. Guests can extend the space out onto the balcony in good weather, where there is further seating available. The dining area is located between the lounge and kitchen where a table with seating provides the perfect space for family meals. The well-equipped kitchen has a contemporary design and offers an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.

Step outside on the ground floor where you will find the enclosed garden to the rear of the property with garden furniture, BBQ and of course, the luxurious hot tub. You will also find the shed with storage for bikes, surfboards, golf clubs and a ready to play football table.

The first-floor balcony, with its garden furniture, offers an additional space to sit and enjoy the sunshine, with its easy access from the lounge making it the perfect spot for enjoying al fresco dining.

We loved the house and would rent it again. The nearby beaches are wonderful and an easy walk even for small children. The views across the Golf course are great and the shops within east reach as is the Bus stop. The property is very well equipped and the hot tub is superb

Lovely and comfortable. Very well furnished. Great for a family of 8 adults. When the power failed in two bedrooms the owner acted quickly although an immediate solution was not possible it did not spoil our stay.

6 adults, 2 children, and 1 baby had a very enjoyable stay, property very well equipped and situated for walking onto Westard Ho, it was lovely to watch the waves crashing on the pebbles with the telescope provided.

Sandpiper was a wonderful property in an excellent location. We went as a family of five with grandparents as well and two dogs. There was plenty of space and the specification of the property was excellent for comfort and practicalities. Fantastic views from the top room.

This is a lovely, spacious house in a fabulous setting for two families holidaying together. We appreciated the welcome goodies and flowers. The hot tub was great and we really enjoyed using the telescope with that amazing view. It was an easy, flat walk to the beach and many restaurants in Westward Ho! We would be very happy to stay here again.

Lovely property with fantastic views of the golf course, stretching as far as Saunton Sands. Quiet location in walking distance to the beach which when we went in June was dog friendly on the northern half of the beach.

I cannot fault this house. Wonderful location, incredibly well equipped and spacious. We celebrated my 75th here with family and friends and it was perfect. Children could access the sea, one son-in-law the golf course and friends completed the Devon/Cornwall coastal path. This is our 3nd time in this Great property in an excellent location, easy walk into the centre & beach as well as various supermarkets in a short drive. Great place to stay with family & the dogs & we loved the hot tub. The upside down layout gave great views of the sea & golf. Plenty of options for eating out or takeaway if not wanting to cook. Stunning property, catered well for 8 adlults, one baby and two dogs. Some lovely touches left by the owners, flowers, biscuits and tea-bags. The views are amazing and is in a really good location.
