With its grand manors and gardens, quaint cottages, ancient woodlands and rolling hills, Stow-on-the-Wold is the classic Cotswold market town. Visit villages and towns such as Broadway, Chipping Camden, Cheltenham and Shakespeare's Stratford-on-Avon. Sporting and leisure facilities in the area include golf at Naunton Downs and Burford and horse racing at Stratford, Cheltenham and Worcester. For enthusiastic gardeners Batsford Arboretum and garden centre is close by. Enjoy a day out at the Cotswold Farm Park with a cream tea in Bourton-on-the-Water or a visit to the famous motor museum.

Enter the terraced cottage into the cosy lounge, which offers a Smart TV and comfortable sofas to relax on. Head through into the dining room that features a charming exposed stonewall, bringing lots of character into the room. The well-equipped kitchen offers an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and washer/dryer. The double bedroom and single bedroom are approached by cottage style stairs and are both finished with a traditional cottage look (the steep cottage style stairs need to be used with care, the owners do not think that the stairs are suitable for the elderly or infirm). There is one bathroom on the first floor with a claw foot bath and WC.

The outside, enclosed courtyard garden is accessed through the kitchen and offers a pretty spot for enjoying your morning coffee.

A really lovely cottage thats within walking distance of the town. Warm and cosy, with a fantastic bath! Only thing to be aware of is that parking is about 5 mins walk away from the house (still free in a secure car park). Just be aware in case you decide to bring a big heavy dog crate like we did!

Beautiful cottage in a perfect location. We loved the quirky features and underfloor heating! Lots of hot water and so lovely to have an enclosed space outside for our little dog. It was a cosy and warm haven for our February break and the owner-Liz greeted us on arrival with helpful information and a cream tea! We can't wait to return

The cottage was perfect for our trip, central to where we wanted to visit and only a couple of minutes to Stow square where we went for a takeaway, window shopping and a pub meal. The description of the cottage is what you get and would definitely stay again if visited this part of the country again.

Lovely, welcoming cottage just around the corner from the beautiful market square and over the road from a lovely field overlooking countryside, where you can walk your dog. The small courtyard is very secure so no need to worry if you are taking a dog. Everything a family needs for a holiday has been thoughtfully provided by Liz and Mike who are rRead moreeally helpful and give advice on places to visit, dine out etc. The road is busy outside of the cottage but this cannot be helped. A very comfortable cottage- well equipped and both bedrooms are a good size. The beds are comfortable, linen and towels are excellent. Heating is easy to use and there is plenty of hot water. The winding staircase needs to be approached with care- not for anyone who has mobility problems.
