Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this delightful barn offers a great base from which to explore the area. The comfortable and spacious accommodation creates a fabulous spot to visit at any time of the year. This area is midway between the seaside town of Sidmouth, known for its beautiful beaches which nestles beneath the majestic red cliffs and the unspoiled seaside town of Lyme Regis, which is known for its fishing port on the world-famous Cobb harbour. Some may want to visit the nearby famous River Cottage. Branscombe is a must with its wide pebble beach and direct access to the World Heritage Coast and South West Peninsular Coastal Path, and also boasts a popular restaurant and cafe.

Arrive and relax at this peaceful spot, upon entering the barn you are greeted by an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner that’s warm and welcoming with lots of natural light. There is comfy seating, a wood burner and TV in the lounge area, in the dining area there is a large dining table and the kitchen is well-equipped with electric oven and gas hob, microwave and fridge, which makes cooking and eating a delight. A cloakroom/utility room with washing machine and separate WC is also on the ground floor. The staircase leads up to an open-plan bedroom with double bed and wonderful views over the hills. The bathroom completes the accommodation with shower over bath and WC.

Stepping outside, the large lawn area is a fabulous place to sit and relax, and, garden furniture is provided as is a charcoal BBQ. Ample off-road parking for two cars makes this a convenient and extremely pleasant place to stay.

Lovely barn/cottage situated in a quiet rural location. Ideal for exploring East Devon, especially local beaches which are easily accessible. Friendly helpful owner. Cottage was well equipped and comfortable for ourselves and our dog. Only downside (or maybe a positive) is getting a phone signal can be difficult with some providers.

Cottage a bit remote but beautiful area and well worth the journey. Quiet and peaceful with the best nights sleep in a long time. Charming hosts, welcoming and informative.

We had a wonderful stay at Bramley Barn. The barn is well-equipped and had everything we needed for our stay - the kitchen has every utensil/pot/pan you can think of. The location was perfect for visiting local seaside towns and there were plenty of local walks to enioy with our dog. The only slight issue we had is that the garden is not fully enclRead moreosed so you need to supervise your dog closely when out in the garden. Love the location. Host is lovely and had some fresh bread made for us arriving. Good space and lots of parking and our dog was made very welcome too. Very rural and quiet location as we wanted which was nice. Be aware that the roads around the area are very narrow and tight for bigger cars. We had a wonderful stay at Bramble Barn even though the weather was changeable. The Barn remained a warm and comfortable and cosy refuge with everything we needed to make our stay a lovely experience.
