The most famous of the lakes, Windermere, is situated just 5 miles from the property, and is a great place to enjoy browsing the shops and perhaps stocking up on picnic supplies before spending a day on the water. Around the lake there are several places to hire boats and other water craft, or you can hop on board one of the leisure cruises which run up and down the water at a relaxing pace, allowing visitors to fully appreciate the beautiful surroundings.

The romantic master bedroom has double bed and sumptuous free-standing bath, and en-suite with monsoon shower and WC.
Outside the property through bi-folding doors is a private patio with garden furniture. There is also an outside shared garden, with 3 acres of gardens, including an unfenced large pond, which is home to wild ducks, frogs and newts, as well as water-lilies and gunnera. There is off-road parking for one car.
