Idyllic location near Wentor in the Shropshire Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Walk to the National Trust’s Long Mynd with well-maintained paths, bridleways and mountain bike trails. This landscape of rolling hills and river valleys is perfect for walking, cycling, golf and hang gliding, to mention just a few of the activities on offer. Enjoy many events and festivals celebrating good food, arts and crafts and music in the area. Pop to Bishops Castle or Church Stretton, visit museums and galleries, Acton Scott Working Farm, Stokesay Castle and National Trust’s Attingham Park or head to the notable towns of Ludlow and Shrewsbury with more independent shops and eateries. Slightly further afield is Ironbridge Gorge, the birthplace of the industrial revolution, and one of the first World Heritage Sites.

Approached via the private tree-lined avenue, enter into this stylish house through the front porch and into the hall. To your right is the fabulous conservatory with the dining table perfectly positioned to enjoy the panoramic views over the rolling countryside. Walk through the lounge to the kitchen which is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge and thoughtful little extras creating a great space to rustle up a meal, not forgetting the wonderful views from the kitchen window. The utility has plenty of space to hang up your coats and walking attire, alongside the freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and separate WC. After a full day out in the countryside gather round the dining table to embrace the views whilst you enjoy a meal together and plan your next holiday activity. After dinner, retire to the lounge to relax on the sofas, enjoy a good book, and for cosy nights in maybe light the wood burner, watch TV with Sky standard package or listen to music on the Bluetooth system. Also, on the ground floor is the stylish shower room with shower, twin sinks and WC. Upstairs on the first floor, there are three lovely double bedrooms to choose from, all with lovely linen, soft towels and are designed for a good night’s sleep. Take a leisurely shower to start the day in the second shower room, with shower and WC. Enjoy relaxing at this lovely house with all your creature comforts.

Stepping outside you will find the large well-maintained garden with different levels, lawn, established trees and pretty borders. Enjoy a choice of places to sit and relax: there's a raised terrace in the garden, with table, chairs and a charcoal BBQ, a bench nestling by the conservatory for morning coffee, and a second raised terrace with a table and chairs to the front of the house, all offering fabulous views and the opportunity to enjoy the weather and dark skies. There is ample private parking at the property, and if you are bringing your bikes with you there is a useful outside tap to clean them off, as well as lockable bike storage.

A comfortable and spotlessly clean property where additional Covid measures had been put in place. Stunning views of open countryside and a delightful garden. A local Ordnance Survey map is a must for local walks. Plenty of places to visit nearby if the weather lets you down. We enjoyed the gardens at Powis Castle and a visit to Ironbridge.

We had a great holiday here. The cottage was comfortable and beautifully done up. The best thing was the amazing views from the cottage, right in the middle of countryside with views of the Long Mynd. We'd definitely come back here

Lovely spacious, light and well equipped cottage with magnificent views, in a rural location. Fantastic walks from the door, would recommend doing the Adstone walk and Carding mill walks from Church Stratton. Highly recommend a visit to Powys Castle on a dry day.

Fantastic house at the foot of the Long Mynd. Absolutely stunning 360 degree views! We saw and heard rare curlews every day from the house. Plenty of space, and we loved the layout of the house. Really comfortable beds. The house was immaculately clean on our arrival. So many places to visit and explore. Lovely cottage in a beautiful spot. Impeccable cleanliness and well kitted out. Area is very quiet, so great for cycling and walking. Not much in gentle walking distance though, but the two pubs in the adjoining villages (a couple of miles) were very friendly. Worth noting if you have children that there is no bath, but two nice shower rooms. WouldRead more definately recommend for a peaceful and relaxing break. A very well equipped cottage in a wonderful location. The beds were particularly comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. The dining area in the conservatory was great, as were the outdoor seating areas. The cottage is in a great location for walking and cycling, and there are lovely Market towns very nearby. A great cottage.
