Escape to this enchanting lodge in Aconbury, a picturesque hamlet set among 630 acres of farmland and woodland with well-marked footpaths ideal for gentle walks. Bring your fishing rod to the local coarse fishing lake or head out to the River Wye for fishing, walking, and canoeing adventures. Enjoy fresh, local produce at Hereford (5.5 miles), Pengethley Nurseries (8 miles), or Oakchurch Farm Shop (14.5 miles), perfect for food lovers. For days out, the Wye Valley is just 13 miles away and the Brecon Beacons National Park is only 24 miles. Explore the natural wonders of Puzzlewood (19 miles) or Symonds Yat (13 miles), and step back in time at Goodrich Castle (14 miles) or Ludlow Castle (28 miles). Vibrant market towns such as Monmouth (15 miles), Hay-on-Wye (23 miles), and Malvern (24 miles) are nearby, offering iconic walks, shops, a theatre, and local culture.

Set within acres of established farmland, you can park up and walk down the pathway to your enclosed garden. The pod has been thoughtfully designed and offers everything for a stay in the countryside. A covered porchway is perfect for leaving boots. The pod offers spacious open-plan living that’s perfect for couples or a small family. The living area offers a seating area where you can relax in front of the TV, a table and chairs for dining with views onto the countryside, and a kitchen space that’s got great workspace with an induction hob, countertop oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. And when the day is done, enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep in the king-size bed – the bed even offers storage. There is a shower room with a shower and WC.

Outside there’s an enclosed area that’s perfect for entertaining, here you can enjoy dining outside with a table and chairs before a chiminea and gas BBQ. Settle beneath the stars in the private hot tub where you can relax after a day of walking. There is also a handy storage shed in the garden. Free coarse fishing is available on the two adjacent lakes or book a spa treatment with the owner prior to arrival with the mobile spa. There is off-road parking for three cars.

If you want a quiet peacefull relaxing break with places to visit with your cannine friend this is ideal. Lots of dog walking and zoomies if you want to get extra playtime with your dog. Also there are some pools for fishing.

Had a fantastic stay in Teal pod at Aconbury. Well equiped, comfortable pod with everything you need for a fabulous break. We spent a long weekend here for our anniversary. The pod was very comfy, well equipped and in a very peaceful location. The hot tub was very clean and easy to use. Teal was ideal for my short break accompanied by my border collie on her first holiday. It is set in beautiful countryside, is really well equipped, and also dog friendly with a fenced garden around it. I particularly enjoyed the treat of having my own hot tub. The owners were friendly and welcoming with lots of helpful information about the area. Beautiful location. The pod was great, everything we needed. I loved being by the ponds watching the bats at dusk and listening to the buzzards and tawny owl. I want to go back and canoe on the Wye again.

We had the most perfect stay, the pod was spacious, well equipped and surrounded by beauty! The location was amazing as the pod allows you to enjoy the peacefulness of the countryside, yet, it is only a 10 minute drive from Hereford shops and restaurants. Owners were so lovely and incredibly helpful. We already cannot wait to book another trip!

Aconbury was everything we imagined it would be and more! The pictures dont do the lodge justice - theres so much space, both inside and outside. Very well equipped kitchen, easy-to-use BBQ, gorgeous hot tub, perfectly serene surroundings. We couldnt have asked for a better break away!

The pods are situated on a lovely peaceful corner of the farm and we enjoyed sitting in the garden listening to the birds and watching the horses in the next field. The forest walks from the doorstep were perfect for us and dog, Rigo. The owners also gave us permission to walk anywhere on their land which is acres of fields. Absolutely beautiful! Everything was perfect, we loved every minute. The owners are lovely and down to earth, the pod was beautiful and had everything we needed. Absolutely perfect. Beautiful views, lovely walks. 15 minute car journey to the town. Rural but still not to far away to do shopping, visit places. 2 pods in total which wasnt set too close together which I loved

Lovely place to try out some sheltered glamping. Surprisingly spacious inside, and decently kitted out if you are cooking meals. Fabulous location, so peaceful and beautiful. The bed was super comfy and the pod had everything I needed. I received a very warm welcome from Ginny & Alan and their family and they were always on hand if I needed anything (which I didn't) but they gave me space and privacy. I wouldn't think twice about returning.
