The property is just a 0.5 mile walk into the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water, commonly referred to as the ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’, with the River Windrush gently flowing through the town. The picturesque riverside setting is a wonderful place to enjoy a meal or drink in one of the independent cafes and pubs. Stow-on-the-Wold is 4 miles away, another highlight of the region, with its traditional Cotswolds architecture and charming town centre. For active visitors, enjoy one of the many idyllic local walks, with easy access to the Cotswold Way and Winchcombe Way. Enjoy day trips from the property to Cheltenham for horse racing (15 miles), Stratford-upon-Avon (24 miles), to visit the birthplace of Shakespeare, and Oxford (28 miles) to visit the beautiful colleges.

This delightful property is a self-contained, detached, purpose purpose-built,  high-specification cottage. It is situated within a complex, which consists of the owner’s' residence and another holiday cottage. Enter the estate from the main road via electronic gates.  Make your way to the spacious property, which has been designed to a premium standard to ensure total relaxation. Enter the open -plan living area, with comfortable sofas and a Smart TV . Open up the bi-fold doors and take in the stunning scenery. The stylish, fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for a self-catering break, making use of some of the beautiful local produce you will find when out and about exploring. Enjoy a meal together on the dining table, which finishes off this lovely space. Continue into the bedroom, with a king-size bed and a  Smart TV. Convenient patio doors lead from the bedroom to the hot tub outside. The en-suite bathroom with shower over the bath is ideal for freshening up after a long walk.

Step out to the large patio from the lounge or bedroom and enjoy the beautiful hot tub. The patio overlooks the owner’s’ beautiful gardens, and a stylish awning is provided to ensure total privacy. When not in the hot tub, make use of the outdoor garden furniture and relax on warmer days.

Bonnie View cottage is absolutely beautiful. Spotless and spacious- furnished to a high standard. Woody greeted us and went through how appliances worked. Provided basics such as milk,tea coffee. Soft drinks, and a lovely bottle of wine. Hot tub was amazing. Stunning views. Perfect. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay at with all the comfort and gadgets you can think of. The saying is, you get what you pay for, this is certainly true here. Everything is top quality, comfort, peace and quite is in abundance together with amazing views across the country side. Fabulous holiday, the cottage is delightful and well maintained. Woody, the owner, made us feel very welcome and could not have been more helpful. The cottage's position is grand being very near to Bourton-on-the-water and The Slaughters.

A fantastic cottage situated right in the middle of the Cotswolds. The host Woody was very attentive and knowledgeable with many hints for where to go. The hot tub has a fantastic outlook and was used most days after a walk or visit to the many towns and villages in the area.

Excellently equipped & very comfortable. Top marks in that respect. A thorough briefing was given to us by Woody on arrival on how everything worked. Really couldn't suggest any improvements. The only downside was the property which was located alongside a very busy main road with consequent heavy traffic noise. Fantastic cottage on the outskirts of Bourton on the the Water. Much bigger than photos suggest with all the amenities needed for a great stay. Easy access to all the places we wanted to visit and quiet, private and secure location.

A very spacious and clean property. The views over the large garden and the countryside beyond were lovely, we spent a good deal of time watching the wildlife in the garden including foxes and birds of prey. The property is however located within 15 metres of the busy A429 with the traffic noise being intrusive at times. If you wished to walk the hRead morealf mile into Bourton then the route is alongside the A429 and is not a walk for the faint hearted. Hide
