The cottage is set in a quiet secluded area and perfect for walking and cycling. The owner Glinys is brilliant to deal with, we had a couple of minor issues that she dealt with professionally and very quickly. I would fully recommend this beautiful cottage to friends and family.

Lovely cottage in great location, well suited to walkers. Kitchen came with everything needed. Games, books and DVDs provided. Garden lovely, wildlife great and hot tub excellent. Resident Thrush a little loud, obviously happy that Spring has sprung, much like the rest of us.

What a lovely cottage, so thoughtfully equipped and with a generous and much appreciated welcome hamper. Comfortable beds and super efficient (almost too efficient!) air-source heating. We spent the weekend walking stretches of The Cleveland way and enjoying the hot tub. Although it took a while to heat up the tub there was plenty of wood availableRead more and it gave the husbands something to do! Hide

Lovely cottage well equipped and spacious. Set in a quiet secluded area full of wildlife. Good location to explore from. The hot tub is a challenge to get going but that is explained by the owners. We had a lovely relaxing stay and recommend it to anyone interested.

This is a lovely cottage, in a secluded and peaceful spot, with views out of the lounge doors onto an attractive garden. It has been tastefully decorated and is very well equiped with all the things you need. There aren't any supermarkets nearby, so you should plan to pick up some groceries before you get here - although the owners provide a welcomRead moree hamper with some milk, bread and butter, and a few treats, which is a thoughtful touch. Smashing place in an excellent, very quiet, location. We had roe deer for company most days. The cottage itself is crisp and modern and, for the most part, very well equipped.

A delightful, well equipped and comfortable cottage in a quiet, beautiful setting. It was very clean, with a maid service halfway through our two week stay which was appreciated. It was in easy reach of most of the local attractions both coastal and moorland. A perfect place to unwind. We enjoyed some of the best fish and chips ever in Whitby (MagpRead moreie Cafe and Trenchers) and also, for something a bit more upmarket, we would recommend Estbek House (Sandsend) and The Homestead (Goathland).
