Walk through the front garden and up the large oak stairs to the double French doors that give you access to this lovely property. As you step inside, you are met by a warm and welcoming ambience and a sense of more space than you might ordinarily expect to find in a shepherd’s hut. This unique Cumbrian experience features two shepherds’ huts joined by a hallway, creating a more spacious environment in which to relax and enjoy an unforgettable stay. Once inside, on the left, you’ll discover a generous living/dining space, and the kitchen is to your right. The decor and furnishings have a superior feel, inviting you to sink into the comfortable seating and unwind fully after a day exploring the Cumbrian fells and lakes. Pop a log on the wood burner for a cosy ambience and watch your favourite box set together on the Smart TV. When it is time to eat, the kitchen area has everything you need to make meal preparation a breeze, whether for a lazy brunch or a romantic evening meal to share at the dining table. From the kitchen, keep going straight ahead, and you will walk through into the second shepherd’s hut at the rear, which is a king-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a shower and WC. Drift off to sleep and wake up to charming countryside views. From the rear of the hut, there is a door to the outside.
Outside, you’ll find a front private garden with seating, ideal for a morning coffee or use the multi-stove to whip up something tasty for dining alfresco on a fine evening. Finish your day with a soak in the hot tub. Whenever you are feeling energetic, take a stroll up to the private seated high point and take in the majestic view down the Ullswater Valley.
