There is plenty to explore with ancient woodlands and well-marked footpaths available from the front door and for keen cyclists, there is access onto the National Cycle trail with route 42 and plenty of local mountain biking. Outside is a spacious enclosed garden with table and chairs on the grass for summer dining, an alternative table and chairs near the house for dining and a charcoal BBQ to gather around on winter nights. The garden is backed by woodland where you might see deer (including an albino deer that roams the estate), woodpeckers and owls. There is 270 acres of farmland and storage for bikes.
