What a fantastic holiday cottage. My husband and I booked for me to rest up in peace after a recent operation. The setting blew our minds. Gorgeous cottage in the most amazing grounds with the most adorable animals literally right in front of your window. Very special. The whole team onsite could not be more helpful and were always available.Read more The facilities in the cottage were top notch, everything you would need for a self catering getaway. Kitchen well stocked with all the utensils/pots/pans like a home from home. Bathroom facilities also lovely, nice big walk in shower on the ground floor, super roll top bath up in the bedroom, under the sky light to have a soak whilst looking at the stars, just what the Doctor ordered! Bed, kingsize, very comfortable, great quality bed linen too. Other stand out features include the log burner for those chilly evenings, under floor heating, easy access to walk to the town through the back gate. 5* +++ from us Well done guys, good job!! xx Hide

We had the most lovely stay at Elm Vale Cottages (Tack House). The host, David, was incredibly helpful and friendly if we had any questions. He made our stay very easy. Stayed in the Tack House. Very nicely presented. Lovely views over the grounds where you see the deer and other animals on a very regular basis. The town of Diss is a 5 min walk away so car not needed for every outing. A peaceful place to stay.

This cottage is really lovely and great for short stays. We arrived Monday and stayed for 5 nights and it was perfect. The animals are a real delight. A couple of times, we had a menagerie of different animals queuing at the door for digestive biscuits. Deer, two of which were taking them from our hand, two black sheep, several chickens and white pRead moreeacocks! It was hilarious! Often, when opening the curtains in the morning, we would be greeted by a peacocks face 3 inches from the window! It was also common to be followed by a lot of chickens when going to and from the car, all clucking. It is a real shame under 16s cannot stay as my 15-month-old granddaughter would be memorised. There are a lot of grounds to walk in, and Tesco is only a 5-minute walk away. All in all, a nice village with all the amenities you need and a lovely peaceful place to stay. Our host Stephen was also great in helping us settle in. Phil & Joy. Hide
