For a little more immersive history, guests can take a stroll around the vibrant and bustling harbour and see where British explorer Captain James Cook first worked as an apprentice before setting sail and discovering Australia. Just under 6 miles away is the picturesque fishing village of Robins Hood’s Bay, famous for its fossil-filled beaches and tales of smugglers shipwrecks and pirates!
