We had a superb holiday at The Retreat! Caroline and Mike were great hosts as well as being lovely, generous people. The accommodation was very comfortable and extremely well equipped with the most stunning views. If you book this accommodation you will not be disappointed.

A lovely escape for 2 with great views, friendly hosts and all you need for a self catering holiday. Communication was excellent and the shower a dream. Fresh eggs a real bonus and generous welcome treats. Thank you for a very relaxing break.

The Retreat is beautifully appointed with fabulous views overlooking the countryside from the lounge window. The accommodation is well laid out with everything you would need for a self catering holiday. The hosts are fabulous and provided plenty of information on the local facilities including places to eat.

What an amazing place to stay. We arrived to flowers , Fizz , a cream tea and bread and milk. The retreat itself is spotlessly clean, the bed extremely comfortable, shower amazing and the view you need to see .....picture perfect. They took the time to call and email ahead of our stay and left a thoughtful welcome pack of cornish goodies and pretty roses , Caroline and Mike were hosts who could not do enough for us.We loved the retreat which was beautifully clean and had perfect attention to detail making it the ideal base to explore the local area.We ran out of time to see Read moreit all and would happily return to the retreat to do more. We stayed a week in The Retreat. From start to finish it was the perfect little holiday for us both. The Owners were lovely and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. A beautiful welcome pack which included flowers which lasted all week. We had a fabulous shower and bathroom (the shower was fantastic) and a lovely comfortable Read morebed. There was a kitchen area which was easy to use and had lots of equipment all in pristine condition. There was a cleanliness went above and beyond throughout. We couldnt have been happier here and honestly the best accommodation weve stayed in anywhere. Would recommend totally and we will come back a perfect place to stay for Fowey and good driving routes elsewhere. Two very happy guests! To say this wasnt cheap it was worth every penny to me for the comfort and cleanliness, and also the interaction from the Owners. Perfect, thank you. Hide

We have stayed in many properties on this website and have never received such a personal experience. They really did care for us. The view is beautiful, it was so quiet and relaxing. Really clean, comfortable and homely. We Read moreate at Narla, North Street Kitchen and Pintxo, incredible food. We enjoyed drinks at Johns, beautiful wine and attended the gin tasting night. The retreat was the the perfect getaway. The property was very clean and comfortable with a very comfy king bed. A lot of thought has gone into the retreat and has been furnished to a hight standard.
