Just 2 miles away, the picturesque twin villages of Lynton and Lynmouth are connected by a unique water-powered cliff railway and are home to a wonderful selection of individual shops, cafes and restaurants. Plenty of activities are available locally, including riding, fishing, tennis courts, bowls and even stargazing, as Exmoor is a designated Dark Sky area. The Valley of Rocks, 1 mile west of Lynton, is famous for its herds of goats, geology, and stunning sunset views. The beautiful sandy beaches of Woolacombe and Croyde are a surfer's paradise and make for a fantastic 25-mile day trip.
This cottage has been carefully converted from an original barn and furnished and equipped to a high standard throughout. Entering through glazed doors, you are welcomed by an open-plan living area with a high vaulted ceiling and exposed wooden beams. Comfy seating provides ample space for lounging after an active day, and a lovely kitchen and dining area has all you’ll need should you decide to dine in. A staircase leads up to a mezzanine floor where a bedroom with a king-size bed opens onto the vaulted living space and overlooks the living room below. A shower room is also on this level. Two more attractive bedrooms can be found on the lower ground floor, one king-size with an en-suite shower room and the other a twin room served by a family bathroom.
Outside, the cottage has a fully enclosed garden with a patio and a gas BBQ for those balmy West Country evenings.
Please note: Due to the gravel paths, steps and stairs the property is not suitable for people with mobility issues.
