Tucked away in a secluded location, surrounded by woodland and rural areas, this is the perfect setting for those seeking a serene and peaceful holiday. It’s an excellent base for exploring all the local area has to offer, and the shared outdoor pool is a wonderful addition for relaxing days. Located on the outskirts of Whippingham, a historic village with a tranquil atmosphere, visitors can explore the surrounding countryside, take a stroll along the River Medina, or simply relax in one of the local pubs. Cycling, hiking, and water sports are just a few of the more adventurous activities available. Osborne House, a popular English Heritage site, is only 1.5 miles away, and the Monkey Haven rescue centre is only 2.5 miles. Cowes is highly recommended, and for boat enthusiasts, it is home to Cowes Week, one of the world's longest-running sailing regattas. Explore the beaches and lively town, with a selection of eateries, from seafood to traditional pub food (8 miles).

Enter the stunning open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with stylish interiors and a great sense of space. It blurs the boundaries between indoor and outdoor living with its impressive bi-folding doors, overlooking a natural stream and pond. The lounge is ideal for unwinding on the comfortable sofa while watching TV or reading a good book, while the well-equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing home-cooked meals. Gather around the dining table for a meal and reminisce about the day's activities. After a busy day, retreat to one of the two comfortable bedrooms, one of which is a newly refurbished double room with lots of storage, and the other bedroom has a single bed and a pull-out trundle bed, making it into a twin room. There is also a lovely shower room where you can freshen up.

Outside the living room, there is a large deck with plenty of seating where you can relax and enjoy the views of the garden, natural stream, and pond within the property's grounds, which back onto a wooded area. There is lots of wildlife in the garden, including red squirrels, so be sure to keep an eye out. The property benefits from the shared use of a 30ft outdoor heated swimming pool, open between April and October and shared with an additional small lodge within the grounds.
