Stay in this fantastic apartment big enough for a family or group of friends wanting to visit the Peak District to escape yet right in the heart of the bustling town of Bakewell. Home of the famous Bakewell pudding, this wonderful riverside market town offers a wide range of interesting shops and independent eateries to cater to all tastes. Just 5 miles away is Chatsworth house and gardens, which has fabulous walks and a wonderful historic building to explore. It is the venue for many events and offers plenty of things to do, with an adventure playground and farmyard perfect for family days out. In autumn the Matlock Bath illuminations and firework display are a spectacular event and can be reached within 9 miles and the historic Haddon Hall and Gardens just 3 miles away provide an informative and historical day out for all the family.

Take the flight of steps up to the apartment entrance and step into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This is a very well appointed apartment. The view of the river is exceptional, the parking space is a definite bonus. The apartment is very well equipped, clean and well furnished.

We had a lovely stay. The cottage is in a perfect position in Bakewell and very relaxing.

Perfect location, very well presented property and ideal for discovering Bakewell and further afield. Beds were very comfortable and everywhere was spotless. Even though the property is close to the town centre (couple of minutes walk) it is very quiet. Can highly recommend! 5*
