The local surrounding area is a nature lover's paradise with the Gait Barrows nature reserve nearby with the internationally renowned Leighton Moss RSPB Bird Reserve is also just  two mile away. Within easy touring distance are the Lake District and Lune Valley, the Yorkshire Dales, and the Forest of Bowland.

A beautiful cottage, well equipped and tastefully decorated. A nice peaceful location and plenty of space to exercise the dogs. With the added bonus of a well in the living room.

The cottage was beautifully presented, very modern and has some unique qualities to it. The well with the lights is great and never experienced that before. The bed was amazing and had the best night sleep in it! TV is a little small for the place. Log fire was lovely for when it was colder. Overall great stay.
