This beautiful farmhouse was renovated in 2021 with a traditional style. It is located at the end of a long gravel track on the slopes of Fourman Hill overlooking the broad Deveron valley. Auchinbo offers a wonderful location for a secluded family holiday and has good access both to the hills and estate trails. You’ll find plenty of scenic walks directly from the back door but you are only 12 miles from the local town of Huntly. For fishing enthusiasts, the River Deveron (4 miles) offers some of the best fishing in Scotland; permits can be purchased from FishPal. The property lies within 'Castle country' of Aberdeenshire, the closest being Huntly Castle (6 miles) and Duff House (19.5 miles).  Take a tour of GlenDronach Distillery tasting some of their sherry-matured whiskies and don't forget to pick up a bottle of your favourite!

On entering this beautiful home, step into the handy front porch where you will find the utility room with a washing machine and dryer; it is also the perfect place to leave your outdoor boots and shoes. The porch leads into the kitchen with an Aga keeping it cosy. Follow the hall through to the delightful and welcoming lounge with stunning views of the countryside. The lounge features a traditional wood burner and Smart TV. Across the hall is the dining room; set the table and enjoy a family meal whilst planning your next adventures. Continuing back through the hall you will find a family bathroom with a shower over the bath, and a small office. Heading up the stairs you have four bedrooms: two light and bright doubles and two twins. There is also a shower room.

Outside, the spacious enclosed garden, which is mainly laid to lawn, is the perfect area for children to play and while you relax and admire the splendid countryside scenery.

A beautiful, traditional cottage, in a very rural location. Perfect for an "away from it all" holiday. The addition of a microwave in the kitchen would be beneficial. Beautiful comfy beds and bedding, and huge fluffy towels.

Possibly the most homely holiday cottage that our family have stayed in over the years. Fantastic love and attention has been lavished on the property and any lucky guests. Large comfortable house in a fantastic out of the way location. Our young kids loved the space to run around in and our dog loved the aga on a night! Access is by track so leave the sports car at home. Loved it!
