This superb property with panoramic sea views, sits in a superb spot overlooking the beach at Westward Ho! This family friendly beach offers two miles of golden sands and is also popular with surfers. The North Devon Surf School is practically on your doorstep if you fancy trying your hand at riding the waves. At the far end of the beach, Northam Burrows Country Park is a quiet oasis, and a lovely place to enjoy walks among the sand dunes. Also, within easy reach of the property, are the fishing villages of Appledore 2 miles and Clovelly 12 miles and the harbour town of Bideford is 4 miles from the property and also benefits from the family attraction of the Big Sheep.

The property is on the first floor can be accessed via the internal staircase or the lift. On entering the property, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is dominated by the large windows which look out to sea, and offers comfortable sofa seating, Smart TV, and access out to the spacious balcony patio. Behind the lounge area, there is a dining table with seating for four, and the kitchen area is fully equipped with an integrated electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. The washing machine and airer can be found in the separate utility cupboard. The inner hall leads off to two bedrooms the first of which is a king-size with an en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC, and from here you can also access the balcony. The second bedroom is a pretty twin. There is also a separate shower room with WC.

Outside, the property benefits from a spacious balcony that enjoys uninterrupted views across the beach and out to sea. Here, guests will find seating ideal for enjoying al fresco dining or relaxing with a drink as the sunsets. There is allocated private parking for one car in the underground car park (lift takes you from the car park to your floor and there is additional parking in the gated car park at the front of the building).

Amazing apartment with wonderful views loved sitting on the balcony in the morning's with a coffee, the apartment was equipped with everything you needed. Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance will definitely be coming back again

It would be nice to have a tumble dryer: I dont remember seeing any listing for the Tassimo coffee machine.. However, this is really nit picking: its a very very good apartment; thank you.

"Tidal Rest" is perfectly located in Westward Ho! and is comfortable and well equipped. The views from the master bedroom and living area are amazing. Just to sit with a drink (warm or cold!) and watch the waves rolling in and the sea birds by the rock pools looking for lunch - bliss! In addition everyone in Westward Ho! (shopkeepers, dog walkers, Read morerestaurant staff and even street cleaners) were all smiling and seemed happy in their work. What a lovely relaxing and happy place. Thank you! Hide

Excellent property, good location. The food outlets are all much of a muchness (burger or pizza). Murans Thai restaurant very good but not to everyone taste. We found The Durrant Arms Hotel in the next village good value and excellent ambience.

Fabulous location, fabulous flat, everything you need for a vacation is here. Underground car park space is great with access to your flat by lift. Would recommend to anyone to stay here.

The best equipped self-catering apartment ever (and we have stayed in a lot!) Fantastic views as it is on the sea. Next to the village green with lots of little shops and eating places. Fremington Quay is half an hour drive away but the cafe serve fantastic breakfasts and, of course, cream teas. On the Tarka Trail should you wish to walk /cycle.

This is the second time we have stayed at Tidal Rest and we have already booked a week's stay in 2025!. We never get bored of the view across the bay or Westward ho! itself. The apartment offers all the comforts of home and we know we will have a wonderful relaxing break.

What a beautiful apartment, tastefully furnished, clean, in a great location with fabulous views across the bay. There is a great range of eating places all within easy reach and lots to do in the area. Despite the poor weather, we enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the sea and the world go by. Highly recommended!

This is an amazing property, spacious, beautifully decorated, very well equipped and in a great position. I want to bottle the view and take it home. We put the wetsuits on, the key in the key safe and walked on to the beach. I enjoyed sitting on the patio in the mornings and evenings and when the weather was dodgy we were still able to enjoy the vRead moreiew, staying warm and dry in the apartment. We visited RHS Rosemoor, cycled from Bideford bike hire & walked the coastal path. Highly recommended Hide

We had a brilliant week. Lovely clean, well equipped apartment in a fantastic location. Comfortable beds, couches and outdoor seating on the balcony. The shower was also really powerful.
