This beautiful apartment is perfect for couples and is situated in the heart of the picturesque historic town of Winchcombe, offering easy access into the Cotswold villages and breath-taking countryside.

Enjoy a great location with roof top views within the heart of Winchcombe, a vibrant market town where you can step out onto the high street to take advantage of the many independent shops, delicatessens, pubs and restaurants. A haven for keen walkers with the Cotswold Way and Winchcombe Way and Cleeve Hill all within 30 miles. For horse racing fans, there are meets at Stratford-upon-Avon and Cheltenham both within 20 miles. For motor enthusiasts, Prescott Hill Climb (4 miles) hold motoring events. Gloucestershire & Warwickshire Steam Railway (3 miles) is nearby with Winchcombe railway station and Sudeley Castle (1 mile) with its beautiful gardens also close by. If you still have time for exploring, why not take in some of the pretty Cotswold villages including Broadway and Lower and Upper Slaughter?

Step off the bustling high street and into the covered walkway that offers access up to the apartment. The front door leads into the stylishly finished living space where you can take a pew to remove your boots after a day in the Cotswolds. The ground floor has been cleverly divided; you can enjoy the morning papers with a coffee or a simple supper at the breakfast bar, or a chapter of a good book as you sink into one of the lounge chairs, and for a little bit of screen time, there’s a relaxing sofa and a Smart TV. The kitchen blends into the space and is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and coffee machine. The ground floor also has a shower room with a double walk-in shower and WC. Climb the stairs up to the first floor to a beautiful super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request) enjoying a front aspect overlooking the church. Here you can simply relax and soak in the free-standing claw foot bath.

Outside the apartment there is a small, decked terrace with views to the hills. There is roadside parking (subject to availability).

We had a wonderful 2 week stay at The Nook in Winchcombe. We loved the small village and everything was on our doorstep. There is a Morrisons and Co-op close by. The Nook is well set up and very Cosy, we had snow whilst there, but we had good heating and felt very snug. The modern bathroom and kitchen provide everything you could need for a 2 week Read morestay. It really is a lovely village, with a nice walk up to the castle and several paths around the village. The apartment is located very close to the town centre and so is convenient for shops cafes etc. although there is no parking at the property , long stay parking at 1.00 per day is barely five minutes walk away. The property is on two floors and full of quirky character. It is comfortable and has gas central heating.

We had a beautiful weeks stay. The Nook is very comfortable and fitted out to a high standard. Oh and the bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. ( I am now looking to buy a new bed at home) Lots to do and see in surrounding areas. We will definitely go back.

The apartment is fantastic, really homely and a great central location with plenty of pubs and restaurants within walking distance so no need to self cater if you dont want to. One word of warning apartment is on first floor and you need to enter via some stairs so not ideal if youre not good on your feet.also bedroom is in loft space up some steepRead more narrow stairs so again not ideal for those less mobile, altho not an issue for us. Woukd definitely stay here again ! Hide

It is a very clean, warm and quirky apartment, which has been maintained to a high standard. Winchcombe is a lovely small town with good shops, pubs and several walks from the door. The newsagents has maps and walking books.

We had an amazing stay at The Nook. The cottage had everything we could have wished for, for us and our dog. It was super clean and had all the mod cons we could have hoped for such as remote controlled lighting, smart Tv, awesome coffee machine and a super comfy bed! Absolutely Beautiful accommodation, clean, comfortable, amazing bed & finished to a very high standard. fabulous location for visiting the like of Cheltenham, Stow on the Wold or Bourton on water. Although Winchcombe is a wonderfully historic town itself. Will definitely return.

Lovely first floor apartment, immaculately maintained and in a perfect location in Winchcombe. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner who was on hand should you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, a real home from home, would highly recommend.
