Chinley provides regular train service to Sheffield, and to Manchester for those wishing to mix the country idyll with city life. Other places worth visiting include Bakewell and the magnificent historic houses of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall, (within 20 miles) and the National Trust’s Lyme Park (7 miles).

A spacious and well-equipped kitchen with a TV and dining area allows you to congregate and plan next day's activities. The kitchen has everything you need including an electric Range oven with gas hob, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, offering plenty of cooking opportunities. If you would rather not cook, the hamlet offers two excellent welcoming pubs catering for different tastes and budgets, with numerous take-aways and cafes within the village. There is also a separate utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave oven. The first floor offers two bedrooms, a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and WC and a further twin bedroom with pleasant views over the garden and countryside beyond. There is also a family bathroom with bath and WC.
Outside there is a lovely little garden and decking area providing a private space to sit and relax in the summer months and enjoy the countryside air. There is ample on-road parking outside the cottage.
