The cottage was so well equipped and Kathryn provided such great customer service we had a really relaxing week. The log burner was a lovely bonus. The cottage was very comfortable and inviting especially after a lengthy drive. It was equipped to the max with everything we needed. It was spotlessly clean, and so quiet, especially at night, all we could hear was wildlife. Parking was a doddle in the space provided adjacent to the property, even though we had quite a large car. We had a lovely week starting with the initial contact with the owner to the introduction to the property. Lovely faculties with a gorgeous garden to relax in. A place to store our bikes. An excellent cottage in a beautiful village. Has everything you need as a home from home for the week. As others have stated, the swing into the parking space takes a bit of getting used to but we've got a larger size SUV and managed it. This is a wonderful cottage in a lovely village and the best appointed that we have ever stayed in. Everything you could possibly want is there at your fingertips and the host/owner is a good communicator offering advice and guidance as required. The parking is a little tight but you soon get the hang of it.

Apple Tree Cottage was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and extremely well-equipped. The garden is quite private and is a wonderful place to relax and listen to the birds (of which there are many). Tealby must be one of the most attractive villages I have ever seen, with old stone cottages surrounded by immaculate gardens, a fine old church and aRead more thatched pub, which serves excellent food. Plenty of good walking in the surrounding countryside. We had a really lovely holiday here. Hide
