The cottage is within easy reach of the nearby towns of Margate with the recently restored Dreamland theme park and Tuner Contemporary Gallery, Ramsgate, where you can watch the sailing boats moor up in the Marina and the historic City of Canterbury known for great shopping and Canterbury Cathedral. For keen walkers and cyclists there a wide range of cycle and footpaths on the doorstep, making this is the perfect base for couples and families looking to escape it all.

Steps lead up to the front door of this traditional townhouse and into the hallway with space for dropping off shoes and coats. Head into the light and bright dual aspect lounge/diner and relax on one of the three comfy sofas and enjoy catching up on your favourite TV programmes on the Smart TV or listening to music on the DAB radio and family meals can be enjoyed at the dining table with seating for all. Stairs from the hallway lead downstairs to the lower ground floor where there is a kitchen equipped with everything you’ll need for creating delicious family meals including an electric oven and hob, Smeg fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine. The location is fantastic (about 100m from the front) and the house is massive. We received a document that outlined everything we needed to know (nearby attractions, local takeaways, etc.) and there were some goodies in the kitchen, which were much appreciated. They had just installed a brand new oven, too! We had a brief issue with the lights, buRead moret the owners came round immediately (from next door) to sort it. Our only complaint would be the wooden landings/stairs, which were very squeaky! Hide

Excellent property in a perfect location. 8 of us stayed (4 adults and 4 children aged 5-13) and it was ideal for what we needed with plenty of space. Be prepared for lots of stairs as the property is over 4 floors but this was in no way a problem and if anything added to the character of the building. Parking wasnt an issue in the roads opposite aRead morend theres a shop within a few feet for those forgotten essentials. We also went to the local pub for some live music! Would highly recommend. The house was spotlessly clean. There was a little welcome pack in the kitchen so we were able to have a cup of tea straight away, always good. The kitchen was well equipped and it was nice to have a washing machine and separate dryer. The house is two minutes from the beach and high street, so the location is perfect. There are lots of lovely placRead morees to eat and there was a selection of menus left on the table if you fancy a takeaway. Fantastic and relaxing week away. Hide

The house was lovely and very well looked after. It was exactly as described - so what I was expecting. The kitchen equipment was better than most places I have stayed it - it's really unusual to get sharp knives!

The close proximity to beach/shops/restaurants made it an ideal holiday house for all age groups. 'House Keeper' was very welcoming and helpful. We thought parking would be an issue but we left car in non-restricted road opposite on arrival and didn't need to move it until we left.
