This wonderful stylish semi-detached cottage is perfect for a cosy romantic getaway. Enjoy al fresco dining or a lazy evening star gazing in the lovely enclosed garden.

Nestled in a peaceful position in the pretty village of Meikleour with a popular restaurant serving food just a short stroll away. Meikleour is also famed for its fantastic beech hedge, which has been recognised as the tallest and longest hedge on Earth. Woodland walks with the beautiful Ballathie Bluebell woods are within easy reach. The splendid river Tay is also close at hand renowned for its Salmon fishing. Visit the nearby historic village of Dunkeld, Blairgowrie with its prestigious golf club, or the city of Perth where you can enjoy a day out at the races or visit the magnificent Scone Palace.

Stepping inside this lovely stylish property from the fully enclosed garden through to the light and bright lounge. Relax on the comfortable sofa after a day out exploring the beautiful local area and enjoy a great movie on the TV/DVD or listen to your music on the Bluetooth speaker. Next is the spacious and stylish kitchen the perfect place to cook up a storm with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is also a comfortable dining area perfect to enjoy romantic meals together, with French doors leading out to the fully enclosed garden with seating areas. Venturing outside with direct access from the kitchen is the beautiful enclosed garden surrounded by a large mature beech hedge. There is a picnic table with parasol perfect for al fresco dining, with a wee dram, nice glass of wine or a good local ale. There is private off-road parking for one car at the rear of the property with additional roadside parking available (subject to availability).

Lovely cottage, very cosy for our arrival. Dog friendly ( with treats / poo bags:/ safe garden.) Julie very good communicator from booking , during stay and departure. Ideal location for walking, with or without a dog!

A superb property of a very high standard. The cottage was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and equipped with every thing you could need and more. The owner Julie, gives excellent information regarding arrival and departure and also suggests local walks and eating establishments. The enclosed garden was thoroughly enjoyed by our border terrier. Had a fantastic 4 nights away, the accommodation was top notch, so welcoming to come in to. The owner, Julie, was very helpful, good recommendations for restaurants and walks. What a lovely home. Immaculately clean and stocked with everything you need. Such a peaceful area. Wonderful walks all around and along the breathtaking River Tay. Just spent a wonderful week at this cottage. So cosy, welcoming and inviting and was the best bit of our stay. It didnt matter that the weather was so awful as we were happy staying inside! Would highly recommend staying here, its a great base for visiting surrounding towns and villages. In a little village Beechwood cottage has it all, local Pub 3 mins, supermarket 7min Drive, Pitlochry 35mins, Braemar 1hr Balmoral 1hr12mins beautiful drive. Cottage itself has everything to make you comfortable, large dog proof garden. Sunny location all day. Beautiful welcome hamper, big comfy bed , fantastic bath. It has it all . Absolutely fantastic stay once again. Very cosy cottage with all the amenities you require. Enclosed garden for our dog to wander in. Very close to good dog walks. Would not hesitate to recommend this to our friends.

I cant rate this property high enough. It was immaculate and really beautifully decorated. The owner Julie has done a great job and has really thought of everything from milk and bread to dog treats. Would recommend.

A beautifully decorated house with secure gardens for our small dog. Everything from the bedding to the plates was top quality. Loads of extras supplied if youd forgotten toiletries or needed teabags. Lots of books, games and DVDs. Our host was full of information about walks for our dog and was on hand for any need we had. Cottage is set in a lovely village with very nice woodland walks nearby .Was of a very high standard in both cleanliness and decor , very welcoming and comfortable. This little cottage gave us the wow factor as we walked in, we were absolutely delighted and will definitely be coming back. Its beautifully decorated with very comfy furnishings and importantly a very comfy bed and powerful shower. Its dog friendly but you would never know it, its spotless. Outwith the owners control, but Holiday Cottages advertises a local pub which is now a restaurant and advises booking in advance. Not the same thing. A bit disappointed by this. Didn't get to meet any locals.

Just returned from our lovely holiday. The cottage was beautiful and everything we could think of was provided and more . It was absolutely spotless . Even our little dog was catered for . The location was perfect for us and we had daily walks along the river Tay which was on the doorstep.
