On entering the property, approached by either two steps from the driveway or ramp access, you will be amazed by the large open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with polished marble floor and patio doors out to the enclosed rear garden, perfect for socialising or just relaxing after a day of exploration. Prepare a meal in the well-equipped kitchen with electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, combi microwave oven and dishwasher, and a handy utility room with washing machine and additional dishwasher. The dining area is positioned in the centre of the room, ideal for celebrating a special occasion. House is extremely well furnished, very good layout, clean, modern, spacious. Just absolutely amazing. The best feature was the excellent swimming pool area. Very good location too.

Solway house is a perfect family holiday home . We found it to be comfortable ,clean and equipped with with everything we needed. Our grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool . The location of Solway meant that we were able to visit Chester , Liverpool and Manchester with ease. We will definitely book holiday cottages again .

What a wonderful property, beds comfortable, all the equipment you could need. The swimming pool was the best bit for us. Nicer than many 5* hotels and spas. We had a lovely week. A glorious house with amazing outdoor space, and really close to the safe millennium greenway for walking into Chester, a beautiful city. Tastefully furnished, beautiful, really well equipped house. Everything you could want. The pool was an added bonus that we used every day. Will definitely be going back and have already been recommending to friends and family.

I would really recommend this beautiful home to stay at especially if wanting to visit Chester. The facilities were great and the owner was friendly, giving advice for the house. As a bonus the pool was amazing probably even better with families with children.

Well equipped and spacious house on the outskirts of Chester. On a main road (A41) but only minimal noise pollution. Lovely heated indoor pool and commodious grounds. Bedrooms were large, light and airy and the kitchen dining area was well proportioned. The position was excellent for all amenities including the zoo, IMEX cinema and shopping. We were a party of two grandparents, with two of our children and their partners, and three grandchildren. We all had a wonderful holiday in this fantastic property. Beautiful house, huge garden and incredible pool! Super close to Chester centre/zoo and all the main attractions. Suzanne was on hand before to answer any questions as well as during our stay. We had 4 children and 2 dogs and barely ventured out much as we enjoyed being there so much.

Our group (6 adults + 5 children ranging from 4 months to 7 years) had a lovely week & really enjoyed the pool & garden. Location excellent for all trips. We loved the space in the house & bedrooms are V comfortable. We cooked every night and found kitchen well equipped.

We had a wonderful stay at Solway The house is immaculate and has everything you could possibly need. The pool was fantastic and we also enjoyed the gym facilities. The location is great - handy for lots of local attractions. The owner was on hand for any queries and was really friendly. A fabulous property - highly recommended.

Solway is on the A41 and therefore quite noisy, but not a problem for us. It would have been nice to be greeted personally and we felt the welcome pack was very minimal indeed. Please be aware that there are open tread stairs.

From when we arrived the experience was great. Loved the cottage and we had everything we needed. The stay was perfect and everyone had a lovely time. Fantastic property . We stayed here for my sons 18th birthday together with friends and family of all ages and two dogs. The house was spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything we needed . There was plenty of room for us all .The highlight was the pool which we all spent lots of time in .
