Overlooking the glorious Washburn Valley in the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this fantastic property makes a great base for families, friends, keen walkers and cyclists seeking to explore the miles of moorland and woodland available from the doorstep. There are also several delightful towns and quaint villages to explore throughout the area, all with a great range of pubs, restaurants, shops and cafes, including Otley (4 miles), Ilkley (10 miles), Pateley Bridge (12 miles) and the historic Victorian spa town of Harrogate (10 miles). Among the many local attractions to discover are the National Trust's Brimham Rocks, RHS Gardens at Harlow Carr and Harewood House (all within 10 miles), Bolton Abbey (13.5 miles) and Fountains Abbey (18 miles).

 

Stepping into this beautiful property you will find a light, spacious and welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With a cosy wood burner and plenty of comfortable seating, the lounge is an ideal space to relax in and enjoy a movie on the TV which also has Netflix. There's an attractive dining area, and the charming kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, hob, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer. The washing machine and tumble dryer are kept in a nearby utility room. Exploring the ground floor further, there are two cosy bedrooms: the first features a king-size bed and double aspect windows, and the second is a twin room with two single beds. These two rooms share the ground-floor shower room which is complete with a large walk-in shower room and WC. Heading up the bespoke wooden staircase you will find a stunning and spacious master bedroom, with a super-king-size bed and a private south-facing decked area with a glass balcony allowing you to enjoy lovely country views. There is also bathroom complete with a freestanding bath and a separate walk-in monsoon shower.

 

Heading outside you can relax in the private hot tub which is located on the wooden deck at the front of the lodge. There's also plenty of furniture for you to sit back and enjoy a drink as you look out over the fantastic rural views. There are five acres of grounds to explore, with streams, a packhorse bridge and a pond, and plenty of animals including sheep and cows roaming freely and grazing in the adjoining fields.

Fantastic holiday lodge. Cant recommend it highly enough. Beautiful location and everything you could ask. The view from the hot tub is worth the price alone! We will be back!

Apart from superficial smears and dust on arrival the property was exceptional in every respect, location, top quality white goods, plenty of crockery and cutlery, brilliant build quality and decor. Thoroughly recommended for a cosy and comfortable break.

Beautiful luxury venue in a gorgeous setting- just looking out at the view is immediately calming especially whilst enjoying the hot tub! The cottage really does stand out from the crowd with a very high attention to detail in the furnishing and facilities. Fabulous property! we spent 4 nights in White Willow Lodge and we were incredibly impressed with the quality of this accommodation. The cottage is beautiful. The home decor is high quality and you can tell there was no expense spared when creating this lodge. Iv gone home to redecorate my home to similar. Loved the hot tub, cosy film nights with the fire on. Just amazing and the whole family loved every minute of it. Thank you so much for an amazing experience.

This cottage really is a truly magnificent find. All our needs were catered for. The property was immaculate and the attention to detail was fantastic. Total luxury. White Willow Lodge is set in a breathtaking position in the Washburn Valley. The lodge was immaculately and tastefully furnished, with lots of extra touches to make our stay special. We loved the views of the rolling countryside and the pond, especially at dusk in the hot tub! We had a brilliant time at White Willow Lodge. Its spotless and well equipped, and very comfortable. The location is great, lots of pubs, restaurants and attractions are nearby. The hot tub was great too! Owners were very attentive but unobtrusive. I would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

5 star location with the accommodation fitted out to a very high standard. Loved our stay here and will definitely be back. Plenty of wildlife to be seen from the decking with numerous birds, sheep and even he odd deer passing close by. The nesting swallows in the eves above the upper decking were great to watch.

lovely location but please be aware that there is another lodge very close next to this one like about 8 -10 metres with a partly shared garden area Bring your own baking trays as the ones supplied are in a dreadful state!

Fabulous lodge, probably best weve had in last 10 uk cottages. view sitting in the hot tub very special Great walks nearby strung various reservoirs, Ilkley riverside, otley riverside. Medical museum in Leeds was really interesting- from young to old.

Beautiful lodge, very well appointed and spotlessly clean. Top quality welcome hamper. Hot tub spacious, warm and clean. Friendly owner on hand to deal with any issues. Only problem encountered was caused by us and fixed promptly and fuss free. Location peaceful and relaxing. Overall an excellent experience. Recommended!

A lovely property in excellent condition. Lots of wildlife, quiet and peace in a very rural location. Enjoyed the hot tub. Modern and well equipped to enjoy a relaxing holiday. However we were disappointed that the views from the property were significantly overgrown compared to the website photos. We couldnt even see the pond or valley apart from Read morea letterbox view. Also the pub is not within walking distance as the listing indicates. Lovely property but with major pruning required. Hide

Fantastic property in lovely location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Views down the Washburn Valley are beautiful and we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the evening listening to the birds and the sheep. We hope to be able to return.
